Classes are not too big, great teachers and quite a lot of options
The space. It makes such a difference going somewhere that is maintained and not just a room with some equipment chucked in. Don’t let it get tatty like other places pls!
Make the Pilates classes more challenging with instructors that are more engaging and better teachers. Having done lots of reformer and mat Pilates in Melbourne I have found pretty much any class (even the ones I didn’t enjoy) better than what I’ve done the past few days at Body Mind Life. Pilates is really about form and the teacher was slack in giving corrections and in explaining moves properly so that most of us were left quite confused in between movements as to what springs we should be on and what the correct form is. Furthermore the classes marketed as ‘challenging’ were far too easy.
The venue and teachers and space.
Great modern venue. Friendly staff. Great clean bathrooms. Excellent classes (Mary-Ann)
Teachers are amazing !! Facilities are amazing !!
One thing though, which I dont really like, is the $25 late cancellation - I understand if sick, stay away but sometimes you find that out in morning when it’s too late - so you do the right thing, and still get slugged $25
The best Pilates teachers in the world with an equally beautiful facility!
Great classes given by great teachers and excellent reception staff at the front desk
Great classes on line but using these less now
Caring and friendly with good advice.
Already recommended to friends and family
The space itself is absolutely beautiful. There is an amazing vibe when you enter and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. The instructors and classes are fantastic however somewhat limited in that there are many of the "beginner" classes and not as many of the open/more challenging classes. A big difference between the different levels and once moving on to the more advanced classes in both yoga and Pilates, have found it more difficult to find a class that suits my schedule, instead just opting to do a beginner class as it is more convenient. The only other downside is the cost. The trial cost is very reasonable however a big concern is inability to afford as an ongoing expense. I do understand that you get what you pay for, however I just wish it was a little more affordable. Despite this, I cannot fault my experience here and although it's only been a week and a half I have fallen in love with the place and the people.
I continue to learn so much in the yoga classes I attend.
The teachers are knowledgeable, approachable, positive and kind.
The yoga room is spacious and the plants and various large crystals add a healing and energising vibe.
The one Open class I have attended so far was very complex, to me didn’t seem to cater for various levels (or wherever one happened to be on that particular day) and I found verbal guidance not as clear. I attended many Open classes at the Byron studio the week prior and all 3 teachers catered for this and I left feeling great overall. Pushed yes but at my pace and this overall great. The one class I attended this week in Bondi I left feeling like I had injured my back which is the first time I have ever experienced this. I will try again, with different teachers but thought you may be interested in my initial feedback. I have done 1000’s of yoga classes over the years, but none for years and years, and I am not young (48) so my body is possibly less forgiving, so take on board my current experience and strength and flexibility is not what it used to be, or what I hope it will be again, and this is one of my goals in returning to yoga (in addition to the mindfulness and overall well-being aspects).
Great teachers that can accomodate varying levels and experience in the class
The teachers are excellent. They (and the rest of the admin team) are friendly and helpful. The classes are cohesive and I like how each teacher have their own styles and flow. The laid back and minimalist feel of the facilities are also nice.
Teachers were really nice and welcoming.
Easy website to navigate and really beautiful studio space!
I love practising yoga at BML, I have my favourite teachers and classes and feel a part of the wonderful studio.
Friendly and helpful staff
Facilities are spacious and clean staff are delightful with great reception and teachers
Pilates class on sat or sun afternoon
Evening vinyasa class once a week starting sometime after 6pm (impossible to make 5:30 if don’t work in Byron)
The teachers are awesome. Friendly and informative. Fun and positive. The place is always kept clean and neat. My body weight is coming down. I feel so much stronger and toned. It’s easy to come to classes. Cheers
Need more variety of teachers. A lot of good teachers have left & seem to keep getting the same teachers. Don’t put the same teacher at 9 or 10 am 2 days in a row.
Looking forward to more classes at other studio. Find classes & times a bit limited. Offer a 1pm class & add classes on the 1/2 hr.
Could install water bubbler in studio. Bathroom door doesn’t lock.
A)Smells good
b) Clean, but can improve
c) Booking: I would suggest an App, to manage reminders and waiting list
d) more extra training and seminars
thansk

Duncan is a wonderful teacher, the flow was just the right amount of challenging and super fun. His cues are spot on! And the studio is nuts- talk about beautiful. Yoga in paradise!
Friendly and helpful staff. Very welcoming. Great facilities and a very peaceful and enjoyable encounter
i found all of the staff and teachers to be very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Michael and Morgan have been the 2 extra shining lights for me:-)
