Classes are great and the stuff is lovely
Pilates classes are too big and impersonal. The standard of teachers varies enormously (some are brilliant, others weak) and the atmosphere is more business then nurturing.
The acoustics in the space are a little funky and the room echoes a lot (Surya) making it hard to hear the teacher at times, and also the sound of everyone else's breathing seemed to echo which was distracting!! Other than that, I think I will be coming to Surry Hills now that the Redfern studio is closed :(
Easy to book. Nice studio. And love Vikki! Look forward to trying other classes.
Friendly staff, professional instruction, clean.
Friendly and welcoming. Really good studio and classes.
Always friendly, keen to help with anything. Personal and warm. The environment is clean, fresh and has a great atmosphere.
A variety of classes available at different times.

Great session
Beautiful place and great friendly staff experienced instructors. Positive energy in the studio.
Variety of classes. Excellent instructors
Being new to this facility I felt anxious about attending however once there I was made to feel welcome and everything was explained to me. After the class I felt the best I had in years and I cannot wait to do my next class.
Non-slip mats or something similar in front of the washbasins! Since my fall there due to water on the floor, I approach the change rooms with trepidation! I also look forward to more classes. The small class format at the now closed studios really helped a beginner like myself receive the individual attention I needed to 'get it right' and maintain my interest, as I felt that I was progressing, even at a snail's pace. That may not be possible at SH, but something to consider. I find the Align classes at SH can at times be geared towards more advanced clients, so perhaps having an Align and Flow class at the same time would give the more advanced and practised clients the choice to attend the higher level. At the same time, instructors should take care to always provide progressions in their routines, so that the less advanced are still able to benefit from the routine at a level that suits their expertise and physical capabilities (rather than just be left sitting there unable to access the routine as had happened). As a teacher, its not hard to scan the room to see who might need that assistance. However, you do have some excellent instructors who are able to pitch their routines across all levels, and who take time to be aware of injuries and tailor 'routines within routines'.
3 classes in so far. Todays was really good, a real challenge! Thank you keep it up
Friendly service and a smile at the front desk. Great teachers and a diversity of offerings
Love the teachers classes and the studio facilities
Bathrooms are very annoying in that they are confusing to know if they are occupied or not. You need to wait for the door to close to lock. One can easily forget to lock it. Showers don’t have any hooks for towels so very impractical.
Cleaning towels were not replenished for the 9.30am class. Some of the receptionist were not very welcoming when I first came into the studio and provide guidance on where the facilities were
Love your studios, best yoga/ Pilates studios I have been to!
So easy to book
amazing classes - Sarah’s yoga class last night was incredible. will definitely be back and have already recommended to some friends! thanks so much
Very customer friendly and easy to use.
Nice and clean, beautiful space, great teachers !
Hi guys! I didn't want to write a review on google or wherever as I don't want to be too mean. However I think it is worth expressing my feedback. I thought most of the teachers I had in the last few days have been a bit rude and didn't seem open to accomodating all clientele. Some of them came across a bit intolerant and short. At no point at the start of the classes did I hear the instructor asking if anyone had any injuries/conditions to be made aware of. Maybe this isn't a thing bodymindlife does? I'm not sure...anyway, the whole round experience I wouldn't say was warming or welcoming. Sorry to be blunt. You're obviously doing very well and people love the studio so maybe its me hah. But yes, I would tell your instructors to ask for injuries at the start of class though.
Thanks
