It was a personable experience in the sense that the technician made sure I understood what he was saying. He was clear, thorough and provided examples for me so I knew what was going on.
He checked in multiple times to make sure I was still following and even gave multiple options I would have at my disposal to fix some of the issues that are present.
The inspection results were thorough and shed light on many aspects of the house that I personally would never have thought of or seen.

I paid $550 for an energy audit and didn't receive a report. Company is unreachable by phone and not responding to emails. Starting the process with my credit card company to obtain a refund.

Our inspector became ill shortly before our scheduled inspection. We appreciated the quick response and willingness of another inspector from Amerispec to step in and perform our inspection the same day we were already scheduled. He was professional and kept thanking us for our patience. It seems rare these days for a business to put their customers first, but we felt very cared for and appreciated by Amerispec.

I am buying this house from an out of state location so the most important thing I need is a dedicated thorough home inspection and good eyes on this home that I do not have there. So far I am comfortable with the service I have received and the inspector that came to phase 1 was very professional and very courteous and more than ready to answer all my questions to my satisfaction. I was in the building trades for 35 plus years so I am familiar with building construction and all the trade work involved in completing this project so the very most important thing I can ask for is as many pictures as an inspector can give me and I can immediately see good work and will see bad shoddy work just as fast, and this inspection has provided that. I am looking forward to the next phase and seeing how well the inspector can help me get this project completed.
Tech was efficient and had all the necessary tools needed for this general home inspection. Gave me (the buyer) info on where shut off valves were located.

Representative introduced himself, was curious & professional, and kept us informed throughout the process. At the end of the I section, took time to review report, explain items, and provide details. He was clearly focused on customer experience and represented his work well.

Inspectors are always on time. The reports are thorough and easy to follow in that agents and buyers can locate where the repairs are to be performed because they are noted in capitals.
The inspectors are helpful when presenting the findings to Buyers in that they answer questions fully and, where possible, show the buyer where the issues are. I think that agents and buyers walk away from the "wrap-up" with their questions answered. But, Amerispec is always willing to take questions later as well.
