Estimate higher than all others.
Beltway Builders did not show up for our ore scheduled appointment
Bill was SO professional. He alerted me to his arrival time and was on time to the minute. (previous company who gave an estimate was 30 minutes late and sat in car with a cigarette until I went to his car to invite him to give me the quote he was there for). Bill was informative and knew what he was talking about. We sealed the deal and I feel comfortable with the company he represents.
Price was way too high. Found it cheaper at another copany.
The man who was sent to my house was rude and disrespectful and would not even listen to me as if he owes me.

Your prices are entirely too high!
We called the office earlier this week to say that we decided to go with another contractor for our project. DeVaughn was very pleasant and professional but there were some items that did not meet our needs. We only need one window replaced and we’re told there was a minimum of two windows to be ordered. We also wanted the asbestos shingles removed as well as any wooden shingles or rotten wood underneath before insulation and vinyl siding be applied. We did not want insulation and vinyl siding applied over the existing exterior of the house. Lastly, we went with a company who guarantees their workmanship and materials significantly longer than Allied. We thank you for your time.

Howard came in. Looked at our front door and back door for all of 30 seconds before he began to write up the estimate. Ok...?... He took a picture from where he was sitting which was like 5 feet away?!?! Didn’t measure anything. Like the holes that are currently in the door. He then quoted me $850 to replace two door handles. Umm what? The product itself would cost $50 max for both!! So we are talking about $800 in labor? For door handles? That might take you a little over an hour to fix if that?That’s insane. I might be a female but I’m not stupid! You will not take advantage of me. Maybe he just didn’t want to do the job. Well, that’s fine. You won’t get my business. I had a few other projects that I needed done. You won’t get that either. I didn’t mention that we are trying to move. So projects that we might need done because of the inspection won’t be yours either or the projects that we want done in our new home. Have a nice day!

The representative was very nice. When I contacted Allied, I asked for an estimate for painting the exterior of a house having weathered aluminum siding. The rep first spoke to my daughter before I got there, telling her that painting the siding would not give the results she wanted. He began estimating for new vinyl sidng, which was not what I had asked for. After he told me the same thing, I told him that I had personally painted 2 houses in the area(my aunts and my own) which had lasted for at least 20 years. He then estimated for the paint job. It infuriated me that he first tried to sell a new siding job instead of the requested paint job. I gave the job to another company since their quote was less than Allied, also because of my first encounter with Allied.
