I have not had a good experience. The PM is a nice guy but his team of people were not professional. They put dirty tools on my bedsheets, did not place dust covers on my furniture, and took my cleaning mop. They left my house a mess. If not for my plumber I would have had the water system to the sink coming from sump pump. A total disaster. I know things are busy but it has not been a good experience so far. I am scheduled to to get things fixed but the wait time is long and this should have been finished over a month ago. I am unhappy and hoping the end result will compensate for the issued I am experiencing.
The price was way out of my budget. And there were no options to perform the work in stages.
Representative came and promised estimate by email. Never received estimate.
Never received a proposal on siding after free consultation at my home.
The cost of refacing my cabinets was too expensive.
Worked with Mr. Glenn on several projects. His services was everything that he presented it to be and more. He is very friendly and professional. Explains everything to you step by step . I've referred Beltway Builders to some of my coworkers and they have used the service as well with great results. Mr. Glenn is a great access to your company.
Too expensive
Jeff and Ken have been great to work with.
No nonsense- quick honest and super efficient bid.
Provided options I am looking for with quality products in the showroom.
I make a very good living working in sales and I'm successful because I work with my customers sales journey. I don't try to force them into my sales process. When I called for information, you refused to even give me a ball park quote. When I tried to schedule an appointment you lectured me about how my wife had to be present (even though she has nothing to do with this project). When you got here and I told you I had an emergency at work, you were unable to give me a shortened version of the estimate, because you have to follow the process.
If you're going to do everything 100% your way with zero flexibility during the sales process, how can I trust you to take my input or needs into consideration during any other part of the process?
Polite representative. Quality products.
Haven't received a written estimate
Cost. Woodland's quote was 20-25% higher than a comparable estimate from Renewal by Andersen.
When you are excited about a home project contractors usually have ideas and enthusiasm for your project. Instead it was a look around then a 70000 price estimate- more than doible than 4 other reputable contractors
I want to be clear before I start that your salesman, Gabriel, was professional and personable and knowledgeable. There are a handful of reasons why I do not want to contract with Bordner for this job and none of them really have to do with him.
1) I made an appointment, then was contacted within a couple hours to confirm my appointment and asked to call again. When I called back, the person who scheduled my appointment told me she wasn't able to confirm it, herself, and had to send me to the confirmation department. Due to a disconnect, I spent 5-10 minutes trying to get to your confirmation department on the same day I made my appointment. This was an unnecessary step that I found aggravating. This was a red flag for me.
2) When the gentleman arrived, we told him what we were looking to do and what our short and long term goals were. Currently our shower pan is broken, we need to fix it. Long term, we want to move some things around, do something that more closely resembles a bathroom remodel. The gentleman, rather than tell us Bordner wasn't a good fit because you don't do those kinds of remodels, proceeded to try to sell us a $13k "bandaid" for the shower pan problem.
3) No one wants death-by-powerpoint. After realizing he was going to charge us over ten grand to fix the problem we wanted to fix and not be able to meet our long term goals, we still were forced to sit through a presentation that felt like we were being sold a timeshare. I don't blame the salesman because I know that sort of thing is what he is trained to do by Bordner. He likely didn't have a choice. Not only that, but my experience with Bordner, as a whole, is that he likely has 0 flexibility to read the clients and tell whether or not a presentation is appropriate.
4) After the meeting, your representatives didn't even realize the salesman had already visited and I got emails asking to set up appointments with sales reps.
I was told not to complain unless I had a solution to offer, so here it is; As your prospective customer, I would have appreciated more honesty off the bat. If he knew he was going to charge me a bunch for a shower when all we wanted was to fix a small problem and then do a big bathroom remodel down the road, he should have been back on the road 15-20 minutes after he got here. I would have kept Bordner in mind for a future project if he had. Furthermore, the more you attempt to convince me that I'll be cheated elsewhere, the more I'm likely to believe you're going to give me a raw deal. Your presentation could have been condensed into a few phrases without losing the impact or credibility. Finally, your administrative team is disconnected and disjointed. Your efforts to have robust support has turned your company into a strange bureaucracy. Good on you for hiring more people, creating more jobs, but each member of your team can do both scheduling and confirmation and all of them should know when your sales reps have already made the visit.
Thank you for your time reading this. Believe it or not, I don't often write comments like this, but I felt the need to make my thoughts on my experience with you all known.
I will know more after I receive my estimate :)
The prices were extremely high.
The salesman was 2 hours late with no phone call to say why , Oh wait he did call after 2 hours to say he had been busy . Then gives 2 estimates over 35 thousand dollars for less than an acre of property . The vinyl fence was 45 thousand . Sorry not Sorry

No one ever showed up.
They missed last 2 appointments. First appointment was on 4/10/21 and someone came and said he did not except to be this big work and he can’t give the quote and told me someone from the office will call and reschedule and they did reschedule for 4/17/21 between 1-2:30 pm. And I also got a text stating someone will be coming between 1-2:30pm. But unfortunately the guy showed up at 12 pm without even informing me. I was not at home and told him I was expecting him at 1pm on my ring doorbell and I will be back soon. So I came home at 12:45 and texted him but he did not come or reply me back. This was my worst customer service ever
Have not yet received price quote for required work

I understand that due to the pandemic, prices of lumber changed. However, I wasn't expecting that the price doubled. My neighbor last year had their deck built for half the price that we are quoted.
We like the idea and design, but the price is way out of our price range.
Your quote was way higher than anyone else: over $1000 more than the next and double the lowest (I received four quotes). Also, I was informed that you use standard, pre-assembled, fence segments so they wouldn't fit what I wanted very well.
Dennis was excellent and very professional.
I appreciate his professionalism.
I still haven’t received the quote that was promised to me last week

Too expensive. Work seems amazing and love the people.
