THE GUY YOUR SENT OUT HERE. SEEMED TO BE IN A HURRY. HE TOOK A FEW MEASUREMENTS, MAYBE THREE. AT THE END WHEN I TOLD HIM I HAD TO CHECK WITH MY WIFE. HE LOOKED LIKE HE HAD AN ATTITUDE. HE WALKED AWAY, DID NOT SAY ANYTHING. GOT IN HIS TRUCK AND DROVE OFF. I FELT DISRESPECTED , I AM NOT INTERESTED IN DOING BUSINESS WITH YOU.

My initial visit with Dave Collins was pleasant, professional, and led me to believe a worker from Beltway Builders, a licensed company by the MHIC, would be repairing my siding. However, on the day of the repair, one worker (Saul) from a subcontractor of Beltway Builders (Remodeling & Painting / Rony Gomez Juarez-Owner… no known licensed number provided) arrived and was unable to communicate with me on the terms of my English-written contract. How does a business send a subcontractor, who cannot communicate verbally or understand what's written in an English contract to a client's home without a translator? At the start of the repair the subcontractor did not work according to the contract. I asked him, "why he did not attempt to unbend the siding before re-installing". But he could not understand my question. He showed me the contract via his phone as his proof that he was sent to repair the siding, so I pointed to the statement referencing unbending the siding and he still did not understand. Now I’m very concerned and started asking more questions. What company are you with?... no answer. Are you with Beltway Builders?... responded “yes, Beltway, Rony boss”. Do you know Dave Collins?... no response. Where's your ID or company card or license?... no response. What's your name?... responded again that Rony was his boss and would not give his name at that time. My continued questions and me now searching through my own phone for my contract and Dave Collins’ number, inspired him to call someone and have that person speak to me. Saul handed me his phone and indicated it was his boss. I said "Hello, is this Dave?" The person replied he was Dave. As I started to discuss my problem with the repair, it became VERY clear I was NOT talking with Dave Collins and I stated just that. The subcontractor (Saul) took his phone back, went to his truck and began communicating loudly to the person on the phone in a language I could not understand. Based on Saul’s unsafe ladder placement (1 leg on a large decorative slippery rock and 1 leg on grass/dirt) and no one to steady the ladder for him, as well as his inability to provide company ID or license information, I’m convinced this subcontractor was NOT licensed by the MHIC and should have been. He then came back on my property, picked up his ladder, and I said, “What’s happening?” Saul said, “someone else come”. I asked for his business card and his name again. He retrieved a business card for “Rony Gomez Juarez” from his truck and wrote his name on the back of the card after I asked if he would spell his name for me. He then, went back to his truck, secured the ladder, and sped off out of my neighborhood. On my phone, I called Dave Collins twice with no answer but left voicemails stating my issues and that I never want that subcontractor back on my property. Called Beltway Builder's "Service" number twice with no answer. Called Beltway Builder's "Emergency Repair" number and spoke with a man, who rushed me to explain my problem and then asked who was my “something” (used some acronym), I just responded “Dave Collins,” and he said he would have Dave call me right away and hung up. Dave did call shortly thereafter and came over within 35 minutes and again I repeated “I never want that subcontractor back on my property.” Dave said he spoke with Rony about sending workers to a client’s home without Rony being there. This incident happened on a Saturday and Dave said he’d send someone else out by the following Wednesday. After waking up in the middle of the night feeling very uneasy about the company, I decided to invoke my rights as a buyer to cancel the contract within my allotted time.
I recently had someone come to my home for the purpose of giving me an estimate to repave my driveway/neighbor road. The estimator didn't perform any measurements, relying upon the square footage that I provided, nor did he explain what would be done to repair the roads. He stated that when it became time for "a layout" he would be more detailed, including the cost. Furthermore, he stated that 90% of the cost would be due upfront. There is no way I would pay that amount of money before work is even startes.

Overall, service was great but estimate was well above our price point.
Be as persistent about getting the job done as you are about getting my money.

Your sales person did not even come to my house she made measure the windows then sent me hand written estimate she said it was to far for her to drive then in the estimate she was charging me for fuel not good experience !!!

Way out of price range. Found another highly recommended and trusted vendor to do it for 24% of the total amount quoted from Beltway Builders.
