They are accommodating and quick to make a schedule change. They seem to have many who are able to fill in the spots that my Mum needs to have visits 5 days a week. All the ladies we have had as companions have been so nice and kind and a good fit for my Mum.

Our main caregiver is wonderful. When we required additional service when I broke my neck the additional service was of a high caliber as well.

I am quite happy with the service we are currently receiving for an elderly lady!

Helpful, can respond to emergency changes, monitor medical issues professionally, reliable, able to find replacement workers in case of illness, etc, all staff seem to have knowledge of clients, all staff friendly, try to meet all needs.

LAURIE - is the caregiver of my husband and he looks forward to the times when she will be at the house. She has a good way of asking him to do something he may normally be reluctant to do (like standing straighter) with anyone else, including myself. Her medical knowledge as to what should be attended to by a Doctor has also been very helpful. She does an excellent job in giving him a shower and shave, and attends to any sores he may have. As well as being very attentive to him she has been a wonderful help with laundry and bathroom cleanup after his shower, dressing and shaving and general tidying.. She has prepared his breakfast and sometimes lunch, as well as medication reminders.

I have no hesitation in leaving him with Laurie as she makes certain my husband is very well taken care of and safe. Once when he was walking with his walker (she was behind him) and his legs just collapsed she was able to ease him down gently. She was able to get our neighbour from next door to help get him into the bed. She is very caring, dependent and reliable.

You are very professional, and a great asset. Willing to assist whenever needed although it’s expensive to have your service it’s worth every penny.

One day was only given three hours notice that a nurse was not available to come.

I am continually impressed by the level of service provided to my mother by Nurse Next Door. My mother’s caregiver is patient, respectful, resourceful, and self motivated. My dealings with the office staff have also always been very positive. The people at Nurse Next Door seem to really care about the people they are assisting; they are professionals with big hearts!

First, it was really important for me to feel like my dignity stayed in tact. All the nurse's that come here have made that easy.
Its made the healing process so much easier to deal with. The accident changed so much & feeling the support of not just my family and friends, but the nurses as well. It all makes a difference. I have never needed your services before but after hip surgery needed after care with transportation and household tasks. Your company met all my expectations. I saw your booth at Sapperton Days this year and asked many questions and received brochures. Very happy with the service.

I appreciate working with the care designer to devise a care plan and to come up with staffing that works.

The caregivers are very kind, patient, and hard working. In the past, I encountered a lot of problems with the department in charge of scheduling...a missed appointment, a caregiver arriving without a car (when a car was requested), a caregiver arriving at a different time from the one arranged, frequent last minute calls regarding rescheduling left on my home answering machine when I was out of town, etc. However, in the last six months or so, things have gone very smoothly and these issues with communication seem to be resolved. As a result, I would not hestitate to recommend Nurse Next Door.
