Everything went according to plan with respect my pickup from Burnaby General Hospital and transport home. Issa (spelling) the driver was very friendly and professional in providing the pickup/transport services.

Mel is an absolute gem with my parents!! She engages my mom all the time, which is helping her with her dementia. My family has noticed a difference in her already, as wanting to talk more.

She does not rush my parents, (who are 91 and 93 and are not speedy at all!) when they have their showers, or lunch time, or any time. When I had Fraser Health Caregivers helping them, it was always very rushed. 5 minutes into the shower and they kept asking them if they were done, and my parents found that very frustrating.

What I was looking for as well was consistency with the caregiver. My parents were not happy with a different person every time they came to the house, and for me, I am able to leave Mel in charge and go out and do chores, as I don't have to be here and explain everything every time.

Good service

I signed up with Nurse Next Door a few days ago to provide transportation service to medical appointment. The office was very helpful in signing me up and organizing the transportation for me. Jemima, the care aide who came along with me to the appointment, was wonderful. I felt much better having her there with me. Thanks so much!

I found Jemima's services to be excellent. She was thoughtful, and very considerate during the whole time of our interaction. I highly recommend her!!!

I had an absolutely awesome lady stay overnight .Her name was Jamila! She was always available for me when and if I needed her and never made me feel like I was bothering her ( even though I was paying her ). I would give her an 11 out of 10.

The other one I had called Ingrid as soon as she walked in she said if I do not need her the full 3 hours she can leave early . We did not reach the 2 hour time frame . I felt she didn’t want to wash the few dishes I had asked her to wash after my lunch and it was only a couple of dishes!! that I dirtied having had soup and toast !I would give her a 5 out of 10 .

Women provided have been knowledgeable, friendly and willing to take on appropriate tasks.
Availability is usually convenient.
