I was disappointed that my son didn't do well enough on his retake of the final exam. I spoke to the tutors to see if he was prepared and although they thought he was prepared he didn't improve after all the extra hours of tutoring. I just feel like I wasted my money since the tutoring didn't help. We are going to try to go back to just doing the review of Algebra and I hope this works better.
Try to understand the customer needs. Try to arrange one teacher for the kids, if can not better tell the parent in advance even before they start the course.
The staff is Sylvan is very helpful and my daughter enjoys going there.
Integrating technology, math and science. Love the STEM program.
Do not like my child getting 1-3 pieces of candy a day as an incentive to do his work. Like the token (point) reward system.

My son "wants" to go to robotics class - it interests him. He is able to explore his interests with the teacher helping him - not making him.
Jared is an excellent teacher. From the very first day, he was able to help my son with his Pre-Calculus homework I also like working with Chelsea. She is very helpful and sweet. I also appreciate how accommodating the staff is to our busy schedule.
Be more proactive with child progress or asking how child is doing in school
Everyone is so friendly and I like the flexibility. My son loves the class that he is taking.
I like that there is a variety of subjects to choose from. And the stem classes make it exciting for the kids. The reward program is also nice.

Your ability to communicate with students at their level so they can understand their needs and what you're teaching them. Making learning a fun experience is great because it gets the students involved and interested. This is why they learn and are able to grasp what they've learned.

I like that services are available 7 days a week, I can see that my daughter has made significant improvements and that she loves being a part of the Sylvan program.
The instructors really care about my daughter Tiffany and they help make her Robotics class a truly enjoyable and great learning experience for her. They pay close attention to the students and make themselves available if the student has any questions (as Tiffany is building they allow her to discover and work things out on her own but the minute she requests assistance they are there to assist her and just enough until she can get to the point where she can then take over again). She loves coming to Robotics and has brought a friend too.
I am very happy we found Sylvan at the Kahala sidewalk table.

the cost seemed high but my son loved it
