What do you like about our restaurant?

The food, of course, and the people who work there. We prefer to eat at the bar - always have loved Ally and Chris - but Ally's sub, Jenn (?) did an incredible job. She was very knowledgable and passionate. Do put her in the bar rotation in the future! Great meal - it was our 40th anniversary. Just a suggestion - we're missing the old favorites grilled zucchini and beef carpaccio.

The service is always excellent, the food is consistent and high quality, and the staff is very familiar with the wine list and pairings. The atmosphere is cozy without being cramped and provides the ambiance of fine dining without feeling stuffy. It's a favorite of ours and we will definitely return again soon!

GREAT food! GREAT service! Great ambiance, outside is better than inside. Extremely busy on Mother's Day but they took care of us like we were the only folks there! Complimentary valet parking. We'll be back - all the way from Alpharetta.

Food is outstanding up and down the menu. drinks excellent. Service and the servers make you feel like family. the atmosphere is the closest we can get to New York, San Francisco or Boston without actually going there. Love the music

I already recommended it! We ate there Friday night and I was recommending it to some friends in the neighborhood at the Morningside Market on Saturday. I like how friendly everyone is, especially the bartender, she is amazing. She saved my seat at the bar while I went back to my car to get my phone. Lots of regulars and locals at the bar, so you knew it was a place that takes care of its customers.

That mezzagiorno menu was delish! The orechiette and both tuna dishes and the black bass were all quite tasty. Branzino was good too. My sister loves that mozzarella burrata but I don't get too excited about the cheese. I've been in touch with my city councilman and I hope you are lobbying your councilman/mayor as well to get this corkage fee situation taken care of. I don't want to have to start eating out in Decatur...

What do you like about our restaurant?

I called for reservations with very short notice because I was in the area. The hostess stated there was only a table on the patio. That was fine with me! Our waiter was so nice! He explained the dishes and cut our fish for us. The swordfish belly pasta was delicious and so was the bread and Branzino. The olive oil was rich and flavorful and the lemon and sea salt added a great flavor to the Branzino! It was a delicious meal and I look forward to returning to La Tavola!

Menu has a nice variety of tastes yet not over complicated choices. Relatively "clean" food if you choose.
