The service is exceptional. The staff are knowledgable about the food ingredients and preparation and always suggest a delicious wine pairing at a reasonable price. The food speaks for itself. La Tavola is where i come to reminisce about Italy!

La Tavola is a place you always feel welcomed... The entire staff are professional, knowledgeable, caring and always make you feel like you matter. It’s a high end restaurant with a neighborhood feel that will keep us coming back for years to come

What do you like about our restaurant?

Likes: Salads, Bread, Mushroom Ragu, Red Wine (Spinetta this time), Flourless Chocolate Cake, macchiato, Service, Booth, Ambience.

Dislikes: no longer have manicotti (why??), no ravioli available this visit (really like La Tavola's ravioli). Butter with bread was not offered - only oil (hate having to ask for butter). Sparkling water changed (really liked the previous kind).

Still a great restaurant and will return, but growing tired of the constant menu tinkering (in regards to the popular items we like the most). If mushroom ragu and flourless chocolate cake are removed, we may officially be fed up.

What do you like about our restaurant?

Everything! The food is outstanding, no matter what you order. Servers are great. We love the atmosphere. While tight quarters, it just works. Background music makes it. We think we are in New York. Our favorite place. We dine for no reason other than we love to come, to celebrate special occasions and bring family and out of town guests. You need to think ahead to get a reservation but we realize that is because the restaurant is so special.

Everything here is as close to perfect as you get. Excellent, competent, and friendly service. Amazing food. Perfect ambiance. I just cannot say enough about this place. When we ask for a certain type of table in our reservation, it's ready with no problems. They don't rush you through dinner to turn over the table, and, instead they encourage you to take your time. Service is not over-the-top but is just right.

staff is the best! Would love to see a few new changes to the menu....we are there about once per week and besides the specials, it would be great to see one or two new items maybe monthly? And more vegetarian options (dishes without meat sauces, or pasta with meat, etc.)

What do you like about our restaurant?

I love the food and atmosphere. The service is consistently great, with attentive servers, quality food and drinks, and a fabulous overall dining experience. The bar could not be better stocked, the servers are knowledgeable about the specials and excited about the food. At my last visit, I ordered the kale and pork ravioli and when it was brought to the table the server said, "You're in for a treat!" - and I was - it was SO GOOD! I like that there are seasonal changes to the menu and special events like Tomatofest, while the classics like the tagliatelle, saltambuca and carpaccio (I've probably butchered the spelling of all of those!) remain. Last year I participated in the Fifth Group-on promotion and thought it was a great deal and opportunity to try other Fifth Group restaurants - I can't wait for that promotion to come back!
