I like the quality of the food- it is very fresh and absolutely delicious! I also think that the waiters/waitresses do a great job making sure that everything is good- they are very attentive and provide us with a great experience every time.
I like dining on the outdoor patio. Our waiter was great! But the food is absolutely delicious! Love, love, love the gnocchi!!!
Food and atmosphere
We have been dining at La Tavola virtually since it opened, and while we don't get in from suburbia that often, it is one of our very favorite restaurants. The consistent excellence of the regular items on the menu combined with the high quality and creativity of the specials keep us coming back.
The atmosphere and the food. However, the new version of the flourless chocolate cake, while it looks good on the plate, is nowhere near as tasty as the old version. Cooking it in those small muffin shapes seems to have changed the taste significantly.
I've always had excellent food and service. A virginia highland treasure!
Dinner as amazing. Both of us had the pasta special and thought it was the best pasta dish we have ever had. I wish that I could remember the name of it. We really had a memorable experience. The half bottle of amarone was also fantastic and was a perfect paring for dessert.
Peter was extra friendly the other evening and Chef Banda was rockin' the peach panzanella underneath that fish that I don't remember the name of.

Fresh food, excellent preparation, imaginative menu and superb service. What's not to like? Bettina is a key to your success. Knowledgable, friendly, informative, and welcoming, she's your ambassador. Dining out is an experience, not a meal. You're doing it right.
This is one of my favorite spots in Atlanta, and I don't even eat pasta. Everything is great, and my personal favorite is the flourless chocolate cake. I've always loved it, and I love the way it's changed lately too.

Staff have the support of management to accommodate (non food related) guests requests that are off script. As a guest, I don't feel as if I am putting that member of staff in an awkward position, which is very much appreciated. The confidence that management have in their staff telegraphs a control of all things behind the scenes.
