The food and especially the staff!!!! Jennifer is absolutely amazing!!! My out of town guest left her credit card and was flying out early the next morning. Jennifer called, left a message and was waiting with it when I drove back up to get it. Good food is one thing, but amazing people that care about their guests and make them feel so special is amazing.

Clean, tasteful, could use a candle on the tables. LIked watching the desserts being prepped right behind us. Yum! We had to order a couple. The food was absolutely sensational. I wouldn't have guessed I was a cauliflower guy but I gobbled up that grilled calamari app down to the bare porcelain. The entrée star, we all agreed, was the lasagna, which was so rich with béchamel, homemade spinach pasta, and intensely-reduced tomato sauce. It presented a conundrum, as it was so filling yet one couldn't stop savoring it.

We had no reservations and just showed up 5:30 pm on a Wednesday. There was certainly no question of the "good" chefs being off. And our waiter was simply outstanding. Great, friendly, solicitous service in every respect and, being informed of our need to make a movie time, saw us off in good order with prompt delivery and clearing of dishes.

This place really has its stuff together. La Tavola is certainly on our list of eateries to impress visiting friends and treat ourselves on special occasions.

The food and atmosphere. I picked up my birthday dinner (take out) and was pleasantly surprised to see a dessert in the bag too. Thank you. That was the icing on the cake!

THE SERVICE & FOOD. I WAS SORRY THAT THEY CHANGED THE CHOCOLATE CAKE WITH SEA SALT TO SOMETHING THAT WAS NOT AS GOOD.
