The great lifeguards in the family pool. More importantly, the warmth of the pool enables me to do therapy exercises for my back. I also enjoy the friends I've made at the pool.
However, the floors in the women's locker room are filthy. I also suggest more signage in the locker room about no cell phone usage. It's easy to overlook the ones displayed in the entrance to the locker room. I'd have given the Y a ten except for these 2 issues
Welcoming experience. Great facility.

I love the classes. The instructors are great!
Always friendly staff and the accessibility to the gym. Plenty of options for whatever type of workout you would like to get in.
I enjoy/love my Silver Sneakers classes with Curtis. He doesn’t treat us according to our age. He makes us work hard and does give us modifications as needed.
Very busy place! Great to see it so active!
I have been going to the Y for several years and I have met friends there. I usually ride a stationary bike, but many of them need to be replaced. Before Covid I took a class which I really enjoyed.

Curtis is the best instructor I’ve ever had. All the staff is very friendly. It’s just a nice place to go.
It's a great place to meet a wife. I met Carol Decker in 2007 when worked at the front desk. Her smile, friendly demeanor (and I admit, her incredible beauty) led me to ask her for a date. She accepted and with Jesus leading us, about a year later we married. In May of this year, we'll celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary, and although you may not believe it, but it's true none the less, we are still on our honeymoon. These past years have been the happiest years of my life, and I thank God for his presence in our relationship.
Side note: we both served on the Christian Emphasis Committee at Glenwood for quite a while under the leadership of Tammy Crawford and the support of Jim McElhenney (sp?).
I continue to attend Glenwood a couple times a week even though I'm no longer looking for a wife.

I participate in Silver Sneakers with Curtis Jones. Curtis makes the class fun and challenges each participant to work at his or her own level. He explains each exercise fully and makes everyone feel welcome and comfortable.
Curtis is the reason many of us keep coming back every week. The Y is lucky to have him! That class and the friendliness of the members and staff are what I most enjoy about the Y.
I enjoy swimming laps in the large pool at the Glenwood branch of the YMCA.
I am not a member. I go to the Y to watch my grandchildren play basketball.
Walking the track. Friendliness of people
Helpful staff and nice members, especially Will
Some of the classes. The coffee and books to share
Staff is very helpful and friendly.
It's an important part of my life. The pool and hot tub and sauna keep my body limber and fit. As a senior citizen, that's very helpful. The warm water in the small pool is especially wonderful.
I appreciate the staff very much. They work hard to keep things flowing smoothly for us. And with all that they are still friendly. God bless them.
The Y is a great place to socialize and meet new people of all ages.. it's a stabilizing influence in today's nutty world. As long as the y is here, things must be ok!
The equipment is top notch and the lockers are very nice.
The pool classes and chair aerobics
Love Curtis classes. He is so nice and helpful, gives you lots of options for exercises!
Front desk personnel are always pleasant and welcome you and wish you a good day when leaving!
Thank you for a wonderful, friendly place to exercise.

I’m just getting started and I feel comfortable so far with the support from the staff.
