I am happy with my enrollment at the YMA in Woodland. Staff are both Y locations are very welcoming and great at answering questions about the various activities. I am enjoying yoga, th elow-impact aerobics, and Tai Chi. I also appreciate the exercise equipment, and its availability during the morning hours when I'm there. Parking is also great.
The water aerobics program is by far the best of any gyms in the area.

The teachers are great, Miranda and Amy for yoga, Stefanie for mat Pilates and Lisa as a sub with Yogalates.
The lifeguards are wonderful. Pool is pretty and clean with good hours.
Housekeeping does a good job.

I've been a member of the club for 40 years. It's great to see so many using the facilities and that they have continued to upgrade equipment. The trainers are great and have become what I would call friends. I love seeing old friends and making new ones.
All the teachers I've had are wonderful. A wide variety of classes is offered.Classes start on time and are diverse and each provides a way to reach your personal fitness goal.. There is an acceptance that some of us have limitations on what we can do.
You are local and convenient. I like the vibe, friendly and informal, no one has anything to prove. I have particularly enjoyed Jen's small weight training classes, rigorous and safe, good attention to form, great spirit. I gave the Y9 out of 10 rather than 10 out of 10 because the physical plan kind times be funky and issues such as nonfunctioning air-conditioning or too intense air conditioning are not always addressed promptly.

I enjoy the friendships that I have had through the years. I especially like the diversity and the intergeneration connections from 6 months to the elders. The Y is my home away from home.
The water exercises feel so good. Body parts function better. Mood improves. New friends are welcoming. Instructors are professional and competent. It’s just so darn fun!

A personal trainer provided one on one help to assess and develop a workout routine that fits my personal needs. Ryan was knowledgeable and professional.
All the great classes! I miss the extra chair yoga classes however and hope the club is able to find a replacement teacher. It’s difficult to get into the classes because they fill up so fast. Perhaps note those classes that do not fill up and replace with better, more popular options? Thanks!

Very clean facilities, friendly staff, a very mellow place to exercise and work out
