It was a good basketball program with great feedback from coaches to the kids about how to play the sport and having fun at the same time.
I like how the programs are age appropriate and focused more on basic sportsmanship skills than athletic ability. It makes it so much more fun! My child wanted to quit sports all together after this past years city rec league, it was so competitive and she was barely given a chance to play and improve. She’s having a much better time in the i9 league and the confidence boost alone makes her a better athlete! I’m so glad she can just have fun and enjoy a sport thru i9 without the pressure of being the best
I have loved how helpful the staff are at the games. I am not a coach, but have subbed a couple times for each of my kids teams. Bevan was so helpful my first time as I had no idea what I was doing! She was very fair during the game and with the kids and she answered all my silly questions. I love that there is an overall discussion of concepts that build teamwork and how to communicate. Thank you so much!!
My family and I enjoy the inclusivity and effort at maintaining a developmental vice club league and focused on the beautiful game and learning.
The light competitive nature of sports for these beginners. It's awesome. The staff simply kind and helpful. I have only had my son in flag football and basketball and both super awesome. If I had to make a suggestion I would say while the kids age 9 and up are playing allow the referees to explain things such as when they make certain calls. When 2 or 3 free throws or why when free throws are done why each team rebounding stand where they stand. Remind them of the rules before tip off: no stealing no full court defense etc... also I noticed when the team practice before tip off they aren't shooting at the goal they just practiced at. Just a small thing but even without doing any of this. I have been and will continue to sing i9 praises and encourage others to join.
When the players are familiar with the sport and eager to learn (serious about it), the 30 minute practice time before the game is adequate. Otherwise, as coaches, it is difficult to ensure that the players are equipped to play the sport to the best of their ability.
I like the rules, recognition from following the rules, and the consequences that are imposed on the children for not showing sportsmanship like behavior
Promoting sportsmanship. Schedule/uniform reminder texts. Practice & game being the same day/on weekends to work better with school.
I like the practices before the game. The staff coaches are patient and respectful. I like that everyone gets to participate in the game.
I really like the affordability.
Any chance I9Sports can offer volleyball, cheer and/or dance programs (in the South Charlotte area)?
My son absolutely loves coming out and playing every weekend. He's been registered into multiple seasons and will continue to play with his new friends and awesome coaches!
It allows kids to learn how to work as a team, socialize, exercise, and introduces them to having an authority figure (coach).
Currently on my second grandchild starting and participating in I9. I throughly enjoy the program and so very thankful that is a program like I9. I’m able to introduce my grandson to sports at an early age which I feel is very important. I9 offers pleasant and nurturing environment. Love the program.
Very organized, people are friendly, coaches are great!!
My daughter has just joined i9. I can tell how much she has improved thanks to the coaches. Her confidence has grown. Love how much time and effort they put into the girls. Definitely refer
We love that i9’s main priority is that the kids have fun while slowly learning the fundamentals of the game. They teach the kids to respect one another.
Organized. Well managed communication via email. Good coaches, training, making progress.
Very organized great coaches that train kids to play by rules and sportsmanship
Coach Jasmine is awesome! Both of my kids LOVE having her as their T-Ball coach!
Coaches were very hands on. They took the time to teach and gave everyone a fair amount of tries. This program seemed to have more coaches than other areas of i9 we have tried. We will definitely be back to this one and would refer people to it.
Coaches make kids and parents comfortable and have fun!
Keep those kids active and having fun in sports.
My son loves it!
The coaches are fantastic. My daughter had so much fun playing baseball.
Great effort by coaches.
Everything was very organized and communication was excellent. Our coach did a great job with the kids and we loved the emphasis on sportsmanship values.
The focus on teamwork emphasized with the children and the building of self-esteem between all the children during the games. My grandson looks forward to Sunday mornings so that he may play baseball and "catch the balls". He loves playing outfield!
I dont think teams should have more than 10 kids if they can only play 5 at a time. The coaches have enough to do without having to figure out constant substitutions to try and get all the kids playing time.
Very good beginner programs to start introducing athletics to kids.
It’s organized.

We have loved the sports exploration program. It’s been a great way for our son to see what sports he likes to play because he was always interested in them.
