Longer camp days and screen free
I really appreciate the work that goes into facilitating games. Even for the young three and four-year-olds. I know it is not easy, but it is so important for the kids to learn. The coaches and volunteers are always amazing.
gives the kids a good time with also learning with their peers.
Schedule is great. Far in advance. Everyone plays. Love it.
I enjoy the family atmosphere coaches and leadership is excellent
TBall starts at 3 yrs old which allows our preschoolers to get exposed to team sports and start learning the fundamentals of the game. I also like that with them being so young it’s only on Saturdays practice & game.
Management Team is amazing, Twig and Ty are the best, first class people! The staff all around makes it a really good experience. We’ve been with i9 for a long time now and our son Drake loves it. The communication is really solid which is very much appreciated to stay organized. As parents, we also like the positivity that i9 promotes and represents!
The coaches for basketball were great!
Was a friendly and organized atmosphere
Reliable
All day camp
My daughter had such a great time and learned many skills. She was excited to go every day. It would be nice if i9 could offer their sport program throughout other schools in Chicago, this was a very far location for us.
I like that’s it’s once a week and weekends only. It makes it easier for the whole family can come. I just wish that all the coaches would give the kids equal play time. I k ow that’s on the coach though not the company. All in all we love it.
I love that there are nice volunteers who coach, the weekly games are times that work for my schedule, good intro to the sport, and the reminders are helpful too of the games.
The coaches were great and nice
It is low stress for the kids
The staff is very friendly to the kids, but at the same time teach them about the specific sports. Also wether the kids win or lose, they teach them to be humble and keep their heads up.
Coach AJ was absolutely exceptional—10/10 across the board. My son attended his basketball program at the Gardens, and I was there each day, so I had the opportunity to see firsthand the type of coach he is. He was attentive, patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in every child.
What stood out to me the most was the way he intentionally built relationships with the boys. Every morning while they stretched before practice, he would ask them about their day, what they did after practice the day before, or what they had been up to. It wasn’t just small talk—it was his way of connecting with them before practice even began. The boys laughed, talked, and felt comfortable around him, and it really created a positive team environment.
Another thing that impressed me was how quickly he learned every child’s name—in just four days. But beyond remembering names, he made every child feel seen. Whenever a child got hurt, felt overwhelmed, or became frustrated after not winning, Coach AJ never dismissed those moments. He took the time to check on them, encourage them, and help them regulate their emotions before moving forward. His patience, leadership, sportsmanship, and ability to connect with young boys were truly remarkable.
As a single mom, those qualities mean everything to me. My son attends different camps throughout the year, and while I typically stay for every practice or camp—even if it’s four or five hours in the heat—Coach AJ was one of the very few coaches who made me feel completely comfortable stepping away for a little while because I knew my son was in great hands. That peace of mind as a parent is priceless, and it speaks volumes about the trust he naturally builds with both the children and their families.
You can genuinely tell that Coach AJ loves what he does. He doesn’t just coach the game—he mentors, encourages, and builds confidence in these young athletes. I honestly wish he coached in the Galleria area because I would love for him to be my son’s primary coach. Coaches like Coach AJ leave a lasting impact on children both on and off the court, and I truly hope he receives the recognition he deserves. Five stars, 10s across the board. I highly recommend Coach AJ! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My kids seemed to have a lot of fun. Communication was easy
Teamwork, fun, skill set!
My son liked the variety of sports through the week.
The instructioners were very educated on the sport and dealing with the different ages while giving equal time. The drills were very helpful and using it during practice and games.
Location (Wilde lake) time commitment environment and cost is fairly resonable
Teaching basic skills with positive team building skills.
I liked the friday leagues. Good times and convenient
The format is a great way to introduce young kids to different sports, but also the true values that matter in sports and life. We are enjoying our experience.
Offers a great opportunity for kids to explores their sport options, discipline and practice s social skills
I like that it's on Saturday given we live in another county; however, perhaps every other Saturday would be nice to have due to people having summer vacations.
The staff and coaches are always very friendly and professional. It’s a very positive and supportive environment with a focus on building a strong foundation for a love of the sport/s, teamwork, and fair play.
