Member Testimonials
Friendliness of the staff, great parking, diversity of the clients who go there.
The Central Branch of The YMCA staff is simply incredible. They truly embody the spirit of the YMCA and understand what it can mean to the community that they serve. All branches of the YMCA are great, but the Central Branch is a special place with a special group of people working there.

The pool. Friendly staff. Convenient times. Cleanseliness of facility.
The staff and place are friendly and open. My aqua aerobics instructor, Kate, is very knowledgeable and changes the routines and music every day so we don’t get bored. The manager talks to people regularly. There is always something happening in the gym.
The facility also allows unhoused people to come in and shower. I think that’s a good thing
I really enjoy the welcoming atmosphere at the Central Branch. The staff are friendly, the facility is clean and well-maintained, and there's a great sense of community. The variety of equipment and classes makes it easy to stay motivated, and I always leave feeling better than when I arrived.
Instructors for group classes are positive, upbeat and make class enjoyable.
Me gusto las maestros su forma de ensenar
I have always appreciated the staff. They always say hello when you enter and they say “Have good day,” or something like that when I leave. You always are greeted.
People are friendly and good instructors for the classes.
Great staff
Extremely friendly staff and members, supportive and caring.
Different facilities offer a wider range of options. Some pools are more heated than others. I think the swimming pool is the best feature, and is not available through many other exercise facilities.
Enjoy it and I love
