I enjoy my time at the Central Branch YMCA. The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. I enjoy working out in the facilities and the upstairs weight machines are always clean and easy to use.

I do believe facility needs to update everything.
Not a complaint but facility needs to put some of members money on updates. Very clean but antiquated. Please put my monthly dues to work Thank you

Friendly staff, great facility. Extended hours to accomodate anyone's schedule.
Central rules. I don't care what anybody says, other than the Skyline YMCA the Central Branch basement is the best weight room in the city, PERIOD>
#1 is the staff. Amber in the morning is a rock star and Phoenix is always very friendly. It’s a family atmosphere
The water classes are wonderful, especially Lori's afternoon class.
I visit other Y facilities in the Fort Wayne area regularly, first time to the downtown Y. Met a friend there and we relaxed in the health spa area after working out. Rather nice, wish the showers were separated with stalls, but that's really all. Was a nice facility.

Everyone is very kind and helpful.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only drawback is the pool and the women's dressing room. The pool is a victim of age and the dressing room should address slippery floors.
That said, it takes money. Here in Fort Wayne, the same charitable organizations are repeatedly asked for money. I suggest we look at someone like the former Mrs. Besos, (I apologize because I can't remember her actual name), or other wealthy philanthropists who are looking for worthy causes. Do we have an experienced grant writer? Sometimes that can go far in getting access to funding. By and large this 'Y' does an incredible job addressing the recreational needs of a broad group of people.

The front desk is always friendly, instructors care about your participation in their classes. My wife & I have made new friends in the classes. The YMCA gives back to the community.

conveniently located and has everything i need
I appreciate the location, that its never too busy when I go, and that every space is a useful space. I don't know how they fit all that they offer into that space downtown, whether raquetball, the track, multiple mats to workout on, machines, a free weight room, a pool, ball courts. Like what?! That's a lot, and it's not even all of it.
Staff is super friendly and facility is clean. I have enjoyed my experience so far.

I love the staff at the Central Y! We do swim lessons every winter, and Noah has become an honorary family member over the years. We love the community we get from being Y members!
