I like that this branch is accessible convenient and close to home and i’ve met some really great people there. My only complaint would be to please update some of the strength training equipment upstairs a few have been replaced but a couple are really outdated.
I like the location, how empty it is at the time I use it, and the various rooms for stretching on mats, lifting with weights and lifting with machines. I also appreciate the provided towels and lockers.

Excellent, clean equipment, friendly staff, lots of options for fitness and recreation.
The staff is efficient. Every activity is kept on a tight schedule. We have a nice room to play euchre Wednesday mornings and plenty of coffee!!

The best thing about Central Branch is the men’s health club, unique from the other Y locations here. It would be greatly missed if ever there was a decision to close it!
Central Branch is also sometimes quieter and more (but not exclusively) adult oriented, which I appreciate in my age category as I know other friends do.
Friendly staff and clean facility
I love this Y! The people are nice, and responsive if there's ever anything that needs addressed. I grudgingly will go to the other locations if I need 24 hour access, but this is home!

The relaxed vibe is a pleasant respite from the hectic downtown outside the gym. While being in the heart of the city, it still manages to be less busy than other, more rural branches - or at least feels less busy, which is great when you exercise as a form of relaxation.
The space is always clean, bright, comfortable. Staff is friendly, responsive, and helpful. They always seem ready to go when that extra mile and are open to suggestions.
Class offerings are good.

The pool is awesome! The temperature is just right. There are a variety of water classes, including aqua aerobics and aqua Zumba!
