Friendly, helpful and handy
I've been a member of the YMCA for years, left for a few years and I am so glad to be back at the YMCA.
It's a very nice facility. I love the outdoor pool area as well as the indoor. I wish all the YMCA had the outdoor pool.
I would love to take the water aerobics class,like I did years ago, but I don't recognize in your program list.
We love our class instructor, Dawn . She is so sweet and patient. She gives such clear instructions and demonstrates them also. We have fun working out!
It usually isn’t too busy where you feel overwhelmed and like you can’t do what you want to do there. It’s always clean!!
Need more P/M s on the equipment in the gym , Lube the guide to prevent drag . The equipment meet WD40 on the guide poles .

Everyone is kind and helpful. I felt like it was a safe environment to let my son play basketball while I did the track to exercise.
I love Central YMCA for its friendliness of both staff and members. As an older person with joint issues, I love the Aqua and Silver Sneakers classes. Central is my place!
Everyone that works at the YMCA Parkview has been very friendly and helpful to me.
I especially appreciate the camp counselors who watch over my granddaughters.
Front desk staff is always friendly, this Y is clean and the couple of classes I take are fun and
good for me. However one negative is during the summer you have the summer camp with the kids. This is fine but when the kids are left to run on the track, the camp staff just stands in the sitting area at the top of the stairs and socializes. Without supervision the kids run crazily all over the track, cutting in front of and stopping suddenly in front of your members. We are retired and like to come walk the track but not at the risk of being hurt by unsupervised kids. I worked for a school system and had to supervise a lot more kids then are at the Y and the way we worked it was to spread out in the gym or the playground so we could see and supervise what the kids were doing. My suggestion is spread the camp staff out around the track or walk with them so you can see what they are doing.
It has what I need to stay in decent shape.

I like that most of the time I have a machine available that I want to use. Love the steam room and pool also
Kids club is great for my kids! The facility is always clean and staff is very kind! Zumba class is my favorite thing- Shelley and Kelly make exercise so much fun!
I love the E-gym and how easy it is. Plus staff and patrons are so nice.

My daughter has been in the summer teen camp almost all summer. She say it is very enjoyable and fun. She likes the various outing programs planned each day for them. She say she enjoys the freedom of going to the mall with her friends. Car washing. Splash Parks and visiting the community, on a whole. It is a wonderful program. Thank you YMCA
