I had not been in a Y for almost 50 years. What a difference is today's YMCA. There may be "Men" in the name but this is truly a family organization. My wife and I have only gone a few times to date. We can't wait to take advantage of some of the many programs offered.
As an extremely anxious parent, I was very nervous to have my two year old try the child watch at our local Y. We have been thrilled with the kind and gentle staff and our daughter has asked to go back to play “in class with friends” multiple times since our first two trips. We will be regular child watch users now and I couldn’t be more grateful!

Kaitlin and Demi are a dynamic duo. Handling basketball + swim lessons + regular gymgoers + yoga + the phones on Saturday mornings is not for the faint of heart. Hats off to them.

Staff and people working out are friendly. You can find times to go when it's not too crowded. It's within a 10-minute drive of home. The eGym has been helpful to get a good workout in an efficient time period.
Swim lessons for my child were excellent at the Central Branch YMCA. The temp of the water was comfortable, and the instructors were really engaged with the kids.
