What I really like about the Y:
The instructors, workers, people who are working out (everyone is so friendly) and the really good friends I have made.
I love that the Y is easily accessed - It is an easy drive, plenty of parking, the entry way is pleasant, welcoming, uncluttered. People with different types of conditions are able to use the facility with modifications or adjustments. They work hard to make it accessable for all.
The instructors are knowledgeable, motivational, encouraging, and have a good knowledge of the attendees needs and wants.
The facilities provide everything I need to work out and also to get ready for work, if necessary.
The Central Y is close to home and clean.
Abundance and Variety of classes
I began taking swim lessons in early June with Tashanna. I had never taken lessons before and have been too afraid to even try.
Tashanna has helped me with confidence while in the water, as well as teaching me to swim. My experience with her has been nothing short of amazing.
Great staff and always a clean environment. I like the 24/7 availability of the Dupont location.
Only issue is those members who sit on a workout stand and are on their cell phone instead of using the equipment .
Great swim instructor. He is very hands on and patient with members!

My daughter did the level 3 swim class and loved her teacher. She had a very positive experience. This teacher was patient and motivating and kept her engaged.
I like that the central YMCA is conveniently located and close to my house or near where I sometimes am running errands. I enjoy the track and the exercise classes.. I really like that there are two parking lots snd a pool and a hot tub available. This branch may be small, but it has a lot of of convenience to it and the staff is very friendly and helpful..
Clean and friendly environment
Something for everyone. In my case complete selection of machines and weights. Nice walking track and although I don’t use it a nice pool inside and out for summer!

The summer program provided stability for my children throughout the summer. The flexible schedule removed a lot of stress when work ran late or if I needed an extra day of care. The kids made friends and enjoyed getting to know their camp counselors. They look forward to returning to Y care during school breaks for the 2Phone number removed school year.

The facility is few blocks from work, clean & friendly.
Easy access to whatever activity one is participating in. The constant temperature air conditioning every day.
I am able to get some walking in without dealing with the hot humid weather. The environment is very peaceful and relaxing.
