Prompt service. I only use propane for cooking and heating one room—a daylight basement, so a tank typically lasts more than a year. When I request a refill, service is prompt. When we installed the ventless heater in the basement, Freeman techs ran the gas lines and set everything up.

We have been Freeman Gas customers since 1991. 33 years. That is long enough to see some changes. The servicemen were the best feature of the company. They went out of their way to find parts and keep our stove, furnace, and hot water heaters working. But they eventually retired and the next generation were not much to count on. NO ingenuity. They couldn't "fix" anything. They replaced the entire unit.
Then came the sellout and we were assigned by zip code: Now our service people are out of state. They are nice to deal with and respond with courtesy. But we are far away, at the end of the line, and there is no changing that.
So, the folk at Rutherfordton are fine but farther up the "food chain" there seems to be a disconnect. Would I recommend Freeman Gas products and services? Try to find someone with an office closer to where you live.
