Love Shirley's Saturday Zumba class, Anthony's Wednesday Kickboxing class, and Lenad's Thursday Dance class.
The Zumba class was phenomenal - loved the instructor's energy!
I like the size of the group fitness area as well as the large number of machines to choose from. The changing rooms are clean and the wet/dry saunas are nice. Last week however, the member appreciation week was a complete fail!

I love the facility and instructors, but when you only give 15 minutes between classes parking becomes an issue.
I love the ymca, but it has become frustrating with your sign in policy for classes. Not certain if your tech people can look at this issue. I attend the downtown YMCA for classes. I sign up for the class, then I sign in at the front desk then I am hounded and asked if I signed in at the class check point in front of the class door. My question is can’t this class list be linked? After signing up for class and then signing in at front desk.. ? Why do I have to check in Three times?

Lakewood Y is a good place to exercise. I like the variety of ages from college to seniors which is not like most gyms. Everyone gets along very well. The primary negative issue is parking when the school next door has an event and parents take all the spaces that are supposed to be reserved for Y members.
I enjoyed hte class and the instructor. She was personable and it was great exercise. Wish the classes were longer!

Class offerings : ZUmba and mat pilates
I love the Lakewood Y. It has racquetball courts which I use regularly, a nicely sized gym area, good cardio machines and a complete set of classes. The staff is friendly, there are always washed towels, and the whole gym is clean and neat. In addition, there is a nice child care facility - I no longer need that feature, but it is an important one for many people. I highly recommend. 10/10
I'm SO excited about the new step classes with Anthony. He's a fantastic instructor and the move from Hope Valley to Lakewood was a great idea -- there's more space to exercise and more room for people. And, selfishly, it's my preferred YMCA branch. The front desk team is always exceptionally friendly and positive. I'm a proud Lakewood YMCA fan! Thank you all for everything you do!
