I love the outdoor pool. The men’s locker room is a bit inadequate. More benches are needed today and more showers will be needed soon if membership expands and there are more swimmers.
The equipment is set up nicely and kept in working order. Employees are friendly and helpful. Suggestion: get the lifeguards a heater and a tent set up like they have in Northwest. It’s cold outside in the winter.
Front Desk representative named Cheryl welcomed me with open arms. She gave me a detailed tour of the facility, and was very friendly and knowledgeable. I felt super welcomed. This Y is beautiful and has state of the art equipment, I was impressed with the layout. I most definitely will return. My overall experience was awesome.!
Kids Zone! The classes. The staff. Such a wonderful, friendly and supportive place to be.
The teachers who really engage all of us and really know what they are doing and can give us alternatives to be successful in the class, those who work in the Y from the front desk to those who do the maintenance, especially those cleaning as the Y always looks terrific and feels clean. I wish there were some additional classes offered more but I will live. So glad that the pool is open during the winter. So much to like here. Never have had a problem finding a parking space.

Gorgeous facility and super friendly employees! Love this place so much!
I like the staff and how attentive they are with the kids. Ms Dowdy makes sure the kids have what they need and make sure her staff is doing what they are supposed to be doing. My son loves going to after-school and we will continue to send him until he not old enough. Maybe one day he will work at the YMCA.

Closer and cheaper than other options and has some childcare is why i switched to the Y instead of Crossfit. The Y also has some really wonderful coaches. Amanda I has become my favorite but there are so many other great ones too! I have enjoyed a lot of classes with Carrie and Amy as well!
Nice selection of free weights and machines. Also some nice cardio equipment. The facility is super clean and new. Hope to get an opportunity to try out the pool and some yoga classes.

I’ve had a very positive experience with my membership at Chatham Park. The facility is consistently clean, well-maintained, and equipped with a wide range of modern equipment that supports different fitness goals. The staff are friendly, approachable, and always willing to help, which creates a welcoming and motivating environment.
I especially appreciate the variety of programs and classes offered—they make it easy to stay engaged and try new activities. The sense of community here stands out; it feels like more than just a gym, but a place where people genuinely support each other’s wellness journeys.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with my experience and would highly recommend YMCA of the Triangle to anyone looking for a supportive and high-quality fitness environment.
It seems like there have been some changes this year to allow for the kids to have more targeted "clubs" rather than mostly free time. My son has really enjoyed this change.
We really like it! It gives our child extra time to play outside with her friends (without screens) so she can get her after-school wiggles out. The counselors are kind, fair, and attentive. Mrs. Dowdy and her team are amazing!
I like the clubs, my daughter usually comes home happy and having done something engaging for the afternoon.
Friendly team members. Everyone was helpful and it was a pleasant experience from entering the gym to leaving the gym.

Super convenient with programming taking place right at the school and coverage until 6pm; very reasonably priced in comparison to other programs; my kid loves the staff and really enjoys it!

The pool facility is so nice! I used the gym for the first time recently and they had great equipment and some more private spaces for exercising when classes aren’t happening. Overall great! I hope the facility continues to hold up well with time and use.
