It’s not super expensive and I love how much equipment there is and that there’s a pool!
We personally like the friendly staff members, who go beyond the call of duty to help with whatever issues they are confronted with by the guest. The variety of classes and programs that they offer and the various times. Everyone is encouraged to participate in programs offered by the YMCA regardless of age, race, or income.
Very well kept and everything anyone would want to do.

The only thing that sours me on the YMCA is the use of cell phones. They are used as a platform for sending emails and texts. They not only tie up the machines but I have to listen to other peoples business on their calls, business and personal. There is a sign on the wall prohibiting their use. Enforce the rules or take down the sign.

Alexander has Friendly, helpful staff, and a clean, well maintained facility.
We are new to the Raleigh area and this Y has been so welcoming! Everyone is so friendly. The site is extremely clean and well maintained. I do have to wait quite often for weight machines, even during the middle of a week day, which is surprising. Weekends are quite crowded. Overall, we are very pleased with this Y!
The Alexander YMCA is amazing. Great people, great classes and great facilities.
Everyone are always so friendly and the Y sends out notices to inform me of any changes. And I love the workouts

The Alexander is fun , the staff and the members are nice it’s a great atmosphere to work out and be around others in the community. The Alexander ymca is our home Y, so we feel comfortable & connected to the others there . I love shooting
hoops with my younger son , playing racketball as a family that includes both my sons and working out in the positive environment.
My family and I love the ymca- it’s one of my most favorite places to be in Raleigh . The ymca has helped my family tremendously with the after school programs , SOS days , and sports . I’m so thankful that both my sons are great swimmers and athletes because of the personal development they gained through the YMCA. I’m going to give back to the YMCA in a major way for all that’s was done for my family and I .

This YMCA offers so much-group fitness classes, a pool, cardio equipment, and multiple weight rooms. Add in it's great location and it couldn't be much better!
The friendly welcoming staff and the clean facility with multiple exercise and social opportunities.
I love that there are a variety of classes that I can take at different times. My favorite class is cardio with Byron! He makes working out fun and welcoming. I'm comfortable working out at my own pace.
