Love the friendly warm atmosphere and staff, as well as the top notice facilities!
I am happy with the equipment and facilities. Have not tried any classes yet. The pool schedule is a bit confusing (at least, I find it hard to interpret...seems like a portion of the pool is free for non-lap swimming sometimes but I'm not sure when).
We love the people and the classes! The kindest people are all at the YMCA!

The Alexander Family YMCA is the Y to which I compare all other YMCA facilities and experiences. It is outstanding. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and never fails to make me feel welcome. The locker rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and clean. The pool (I mostly swim) is clean, well-staffed and a pleasure to use.
If anything, a bit more light in the pool area.
But, I love the Alexander Family Y and only wish it were closer to where I live (Apex) so that I could make it my permanent Y home.
The location and facilities offered! Front desk staff are always friendly and helpful. The only thing I’d take a point off for is having to hunt for a parking spot with other cars circling around the lots.

The staff were very friendly, the facility is well laid out with great equipment and was not too crowded. I visited the Alexander which is not my usual Y and it was so easy. Thank you!

Love the variety and high quality of the classes. The instructors are amazing - supportive and knowledgable. I especially enjoy the Thrive classes and having them every Mon - Fri at 10:45 am is perfect timing.
