Family friendly place
A fantastic pre-school morning gymnastics class we had with coach Stephanie and another coach( do not know her name) brought my grandson for the 10:30-11 a.m classes..the coaches were so patient and super fantastic with all of the kids..
Will re-register again for the fall..the class is really helping his confidence, balance and he is excited to enroll again.

I moved away from the Lakewood Y to Tacoma, near the Morgan Y. The Lakewood Y has the stairs which provides easier access in and out of the pool for me. I use the swim fins for kicking and arthritis prevents me from being able to bring my right foot up to where I can put the fin on my foot. If I stand on the stairs into the pool, I can prop my foot behind me on the railing and slip the fin on from the back, bending my knee so my foot is behind me and supported by the stair railing. The Morgan Y does not provide stairs for getting in and out of the pool so I drive the extra ten minutes to Lakewood. You young, fit people don't know some of the tricks necessary to function as a person with mobility issues. The stairs into the pool are one way you make exercise more accessible to those of us with limitations. Thanks guys.

I go the Y all the time when not using the Y360 . Everyone is really nice and made lots of friends there.
I appreciate that they have classes for seniors as well as a a nice pool.

Like that the kids are in small groups. They have an activity to focus on during the week and that they spend a mixture of time indoors and outdoors. Also knowing in advance when the swim day will be is super helpful because sometimes I don't want my child to participate and would like to plan around that.
