Like that the kids are in small groups. They have an activity to focus on during the week and that they spend a mixture of time indoors and outdoors. Also knowing in advance when the swim day will be is super helpful because sometimes I don't want my child to participate and would like to plan around that.

Lakewood YMCA is a great place to work out. The facility has something for everyone whether it is swimming, weights, classes of all types and various ball sports.

Friendly Staff - I do the water aerobics classes throughout the week. Classes always on time, clean. I'm Senior, there is lot of seniors attending the exercise classes, so I don't feel out of place. I love the instructor, Mike. He is great with the seniors!

The Y is part of my community -- a reliable and friendly place where I can work out to keep in shape for my passion -- hiking -- and other activities still possible after almost 80 years of life.
The staff and counselors are awesome and I’m happy my son is engaged and having fun during the summer.
