The teacher
My has had some anxiety about being in a particular section of the pool due to a traumatic experience but with the guidance and reassurance from the swim instructors, he isn't afraid anymore. We wish they would keep the same instructor at the same time each session because consistency is key to learning and growing. I also feel my child is extra safe in the water because the number of lifeguards moving around as they monitor the water.
The teachers are so amazing! Always remember my kids names and take such great care of them.

Mrs. Eileen is the best trainer my son has finally gotten over his fear of water thanks to her. I am always in the lookout out to see when she’s training so I can register my son and daughter in her days/times.
The younger trainers are a hit or miss —my son and daughter loves Kat, he is very fun and engaging and some how manages to teach them as well while having fun. (A lot of the other young trainers look stressed out by the little swimmers)
But overall, I feel that is a good learning environment and with consistency they will learn to swim. 10/10 recommend.
Friendly instructors, relate well with kids.
Swim lessons are wonderful for our four year old! She was very nervous to be in the water, but Josh has a welcoming and kind personality that makes the kids feel safe and comfortable in the water. We could not recommend lessons highly enough!
Overall we like the lessons at the Y and that’s the only reason we have the membership. I’d say 70% of the instructors were really good and committed to the job and we just try to stick to the ones we like. The facility is great. I understand there’s a high demand for these classes but the student-instructor ratio right now seems way too high. No other successful swim school has such a high ratio. The learning experience is compromised.
Easily the instructor- Ms. Eileen. Most of the other swim instructors for the young age are inexperienced and not as knowlegeable. Ms Eileen is amazing! They way she makes the songs and games fun yet the kids learn so much. She also explains what the next steps are and how to get them there. My son has advanced so much while under her instruction.
My three children love to swim, my children are 13 years old, 7 years old and 19 months old. All the coaches explain well and treat the children very well. I don't understand English well, but I don't feel uncomfortable during swimming lessons with my youngest daughter.

Our swim instructors are so sweet, they listen to the kids, and in our class they are 1-on-1. They take the fear out of swimming for my 5 year old.
Madi is a wonderful teacher and my teen is learning a ton!
Miss Eileen is fantastic! She really gets the parents and the kiddos engaged. We love swim lessons with her.
They’re included in membership . I don’t like that there are often times different instructors who do different lessons during class.
Good lesson
Friendly instructors for kids and be able to swim after lesson in the other side is helpful for kids to practice after the lesson.
The instructors are very kind. The leadership is thoughtful and understanding - I've talked to that main gal a few times and she's been very professional and considerate. The group sizes seem right and the amount of work expected by our kids is more than reasonable.
Eileen is great! We love her. She helps build the kids confidence and trust in the water.
