Love the Silver and Fit classes.
Very nice and clean. Great equipment to workout...lots of weights, treadmills, ellipticals, stairmasters. Very nice pool and gym and running track. I have not done any classes so i cannot advise on those. There is something for everyone!
I am 77 years old and was very obese. I have been exercising in the pool 3 times a week for the past 2+ years. I have lost over 50 lbs, mainly through exercise and many of my physical ailments have disappeared or are vastly better. I feel better now than I did in my 50s. My health insurance makes the exercise in the classes or at the pool free.
I would like to recommend The Gordon Family YMCA experience to anyone who is interested in joining the Y swim or other classes that are available. The pool is clean, the facilities are perfect and you will make many, many friendships as you get into a healthier way of life

Easy to get in and out, early hours are good before work. Childcare helps for everyone in the family.
The staff that assisted me in signing up process was so kind to explain the details (I was very confused). She was very patient throughout the entire process. I wish I can recall her name.

The staff at the YMCA is so special - they genuinely care about our experience at the facility. They are friendly and professional. The facility is so clean, and has so many great features, from the indoor track, river pool, weight area, massage chairs, great gyms, and endless variety of fitness classes. I always leave the Y feeling better than when I came in. Thank you to the team that makes those visits fun and effective.
