Theresa's Ignite class. I feel like I have found my people finally. Thank you for your beautiful funny soul- Theresa!
you do a great job of cleaning all the railings and wiping things down, but I have noticed a lot of dust bunnies on the floors! Big balls of dust and hair along the edges of the track and on the floors (especially against the walls) in the rooms. A handheld dust buster like a Dyson would work great to suck those up. I think a push broom would just push them to the side.
I love the Y because of the friendly staff.
This is not the first time! Please ask Saturday 9AM spin instructor to turn down the volume of music. It hurts! She ends up shouting to be heard and that is difficult to understand let alone feel motivated.
The membership staff is incredibly friendly and the facility is kept clean with equipment that is consistently available.
You need a clock on the opposite side of the gym for the instructors to see
An employee tried to help start virtual class for ringside shadow but was not able to as an instructor needed to be present.
Clean the bases of the treadmills more often.
The exceptional staff
So many things!
Friendly, experienced, educated staff.
Good place to meet people & nurture friendships- we have developed a group of "knotty girls" who knit together, ski groups, hiking groups, and just gathering for coffee.
Love the daily message board with scriptures & heartfelt comments.
Thank you for the new sound system in the main gym!!
Suggestion: CPR/BLS instruction.
atmosphere, kindness & helpfulness of staff
It's so family friendly!
The staff is exceptionally friendly, and the pool is amazing!
I've lost 60 pounds since joining the Y! Even better is all the friends I've made! It's such a great community. I've worked from home for 30 yrs and have been very sedentary. Now I am so glad to come & work out!
Love Zumba- Request for Chrysangela for Friday Zumba sub for James
Miss Emily in childwatch is amazing & we are so grateful for her. She is so welcoming, friendly, & just is such an asset to the Y. My kids love seeing her & she has such a calming presence that doesn’t go unnoticed.
Also some more hooks added to the family shower rooms would be so appreciated! Not enough towel hooks with multiple kids.
Emily in child watch has been the absolute best most supportive person! It’s my daughter’s first time leaving me and she has been so comforting and caring for her!
Today I had a great barre class with Shayla. I love the afternoon time slot of this class. Shayla is so positive and her class is the just right difficulty level for me!
I love the music in Tracy and Crystal's classes. It motivates me and makes me want to keep working out
I always feel welcome when I am there. I would like to see some rebounders purchased and classes toward evening more.
The Tom Taylor YMCA is an outstanding community center that goes above and beyond! I often hear from members that from the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by friendly and welcoming staff who make you feel like part of the YMCA family.
The facility is clean and well-maintained, offers top-notch equipment, a fantastic swimming pool, and a variety of fitness classes for all ages and skill levels.
What really sets the Tom Taylor YMCA apart is its strong sense of community. It starts with the employees who are dedicated, caring and helpful.
The YMCA is more than just a gym—it’s a place where people come together to grow, support one another, and live healthier lives!
swimming pool
something for everyone.
This facility is so nice and the staff are so friendly.
It is a huge asset to the community and we appreciate it so much
Simply a great place to be!
Would love if the sauna room could be monitored for rules being followed. Often seeing people in full on gym clothes and tennis shoes in there.
Classes offered are incredible!
This is my story. Why I like the YMCA? I wrote one earlier but I'm rewriting it cuz I'm not sure what I said. I became involved with a why when I Saw Tim tebow's night to shine when I was 9 years old. I got severely beaten up by a special needs child. Since then I have been terrified of them would even skip certain parts of nursing school when it came to dealing with special needs children. I saw Tim tebow's night to shine on Facebook and instantly knew the Lord wanted me to do this to break the stronghold and the chain of fearing special needs children the night of night to shine. I was anxious and then became very afraid when all the kids came in. My friends surrounded me and started praying and I felt the total piece of Jesus. I had the most amazing awesome sweetest girl name Annika who I still keep in touch with. I even go to see her cheer at gig Harbor high. She touched my heart and she took away the fear and I am so amazed at what God has done. It's a true miracle. I have done night to shine a couple times now and I love being around the kids. They have a special place in my heart. I have been set free from the fear. Thanks to Tim tebow's night to shine and the YMCA. Thank you

Great swim team!!
