Great classes and instructors! Friendly people come to the Y
It has a wide variety of exercise equipment and instructional classes
I've always had a great experience being a member of the YMCA. My dad had been a member for 40 years, he used to play racquetball in the 80's-90's in Tacoma, and now I carry the tradition. The Gig Harbor YMCA is as nice as it gets, the staff are always very nice, the facilities are spotless.
The circuit strength building class on T and Th 11:00-12:00 and Tai Chi on T and Th 12:00-1:00.

It's the best Y. And it's like being brand new yourself. And I've been going to the Y since the 50's / 60's. I started in the Bremerton Y. I'm old school so I'm still learning equipment I'm computer illiterate & I'm staying that way. I'm 78 years old & I'm not on any prescription drugs. I've never been sick except for having the Mumps, (both sides), Measles, & Chicken Pox. Not even a headache or a sore throat. Exercise is the name of the game or life we live. Supplements & Vitamins are cures. My blood has the COVID - 19 antidotes, (cure) & we are what we eat. And our FDA only prescribes death with side effects. If you don't believe me watch their TV commercials. The Gig Harbor Y has so much to offer. The advancement or additions have made them. It's really a blessing that we are receiving. It's a gift from God. And the customer service people smile & show us that they only work to make us happy. I look at going to the Y as my vacation. That way I get to have 6 or 7 days of vacation a week. And I go to Church (NewLife in Port Orchard) on Sunday's is another vacation of mine. God is Love. Jesus is Life. Jesus and I are Roommates. My life is a God story. From birth. That's a Praise God & thank you Jesus. My life is a vacation following Jesus. And we go to another Y also. I say a Prayer when I arrive or go inside. I say Jesus be in everyone coming & going. (in 'all' the Y's) Give everyone a miracle. (in all our Y's). And save someone's life in all our Y's. In Jesus name AMEN! Since I'm 78 years old, I've accomplished my Past. With Honors, Awards, Records, (that no one else has done or could do) & achievements. I'm a Humble Bragger. Now I get to start my new Chapter in life with being Roommates with Jesus. I also have 7 impossible Miracles with over 1000 little ones. I was a Chosen One. Now I'm going to be Baptized for my 3rd time because now I'm a Messenger. God is "REAL". ALL YMCAs are good. Tom Taylor is the Best.

The culture at the Y is inclusive and welcoming to all. There are lots of opportunities to be active, meet people and learn new skills.

It is always welcoming. I use the pool and enjoy the aquacise classes. Instructor is very warm and welcoming to all. Yesterday when I was in pool for class
more people there than I have ever seen there for class before.

I like facility. It is always clean, the machines all work and the facility has everything anyone would need for a complete workout. In addition and maybe just as important, the staff is awesome!. They are welcoming, helpful and just great folks.

I love the creative writing class at Tom Taylor Way. Regina, the professor that taught it is absolutely fantastic. I have taken two sessions so far and I will continue as my schedule permits. Regina and this class have opened up a whole brand new section of my life to be a writer.
