EVERYTHING!! I met my husband at the YMCA on Pearl in Tacoma January of 1980! So happy with our Gig Harbor Y~ LOVE IT!

The Gig Harbor YMCA is an exceptional in both the leadership and facility. I travel quite a bit so I visit many YMCA's. The the physical organization of the Tom Taylor YMCA is exceptional, as are the many classes offered. It is a clean and friendly place to do my workouts.

This is the nicest YMCA I have ever visited! I went on 2 consecutive days while visiting the Gig Harbor area, and was impressed with the whole facility. The pool worked very well for my lap swimming, and the strength training session was spacious, having all the equipment I needed for my custom-designed workout. The residents of Gig Harbor are lucky to have this facility, which exceeds many privately operated gyms.

What do you like about your Tom Taylor Family YMCA experience?

We enjoy the YMCA and usually go to the gym ywice a week. We've done this for over six years.
Biggest complaint is lack of enough signage and enforcement of phone usuage in the gym. Very disconcerting at the lage number of people sitting on machines staring at their phones doing little or mimimal exercise. It really creates bad situations when trying to train with purpose. It seems the Y is afraid to enforce any type of disipline on this.

Fantastic staff, very friendly and helpful. I am not an in shape muscle bound person, and felt so welcome when I went in, people of all shapes, abilities, and fitness were there and all welcoming. The facilities are beautiful
