My daughter loves going to "school" at the Y. She is constantly chatting about her day, her teachers, her friends. Her vocabulary has excelled in her time here. They have an actual routine and curriculum. The teachers send periodic updates and photos when special things are happening so that is always fun to see as well. The facility is well kept and clean. My kids have gotten sick and I've missed far less work compared to when my kids were attending another childcare facility.

What I like about my experience is the cleanliness of the facility, the friendly and caring staff members allow me the peace of mind without worry. I am confident knowing that my granddaughter Harmonee is safe when I leave her in their hands with the responsibility to do the right thing. My Harmonee anticipates going to parents night out. The activities, food and snacks, as well as the staff that do the activities with the children is an excitement and experience that she loves and I enjoy! Northwest YMCA El Mirage ROCKS!!!
Your Expert Staff and your Professional Training Instructors consistently perform with excellence. Always a positive attitude and smiles greeting all members and guests. This would be enough; but the staff sets the highest standard, not seen in other "exercise centers" around the states or military bases worldwide. Thank you for your "team spirit" is appreciated and your outstanding service sets the bar high, a quality to be emulated. Our leaders of tomorrow are leading by example today! Everyone has been so welcoming, friendly and supportive. It has been one of the best programs I have enrolled my child into.
We just moved from Colorado and everyone at the Northwest Y has been so helpful. Josie helped me get my kids in teams. The kids coaches have challenged and encouraged them to be there best. The kids are loving the experience. I also appreciate all of the communication from the club and coaches.
Great! The kids really love how Coach Washington helps them get better at playing basketball.
It would be even better if there was a pickleball court and longer swimming hours on the weekends. Also, adding activities like gymnastics or ballet classes for younger kids (ages 3+)—similar to the sports fest offered for the older kids—would be a great addition!
I love this YMCA they’re all friendly great communication I know my kids are safe they’re all one team and my kids enjoy it also !

The people are always friendly and willing to listen to whatever you have to say. The workout machines are clean and ready for us to use.
We love the gym and all the programs they offer. Pricing is very low for residents which makes it even better.
