I love that my gym membership fee does not go to a CEO billionaire or hedge fund in New York. I played on the Jr. Suns as a kid, I learned to Swim in classes at the YMCA. I tell everyone to pick a gym that helps your community, not a meat head gym that does nothing for seniors or kids and funnels millions to 5 or 6 people living in Orange Country. If you 'need specialized equipment' thats 'state of the art' and is only at Mountainside or Lifetime Fitness my advice is to join the YMCA learn how to exercise/workout. (No you don't need an infrared sauna, no you don't need a smart machine with an IPad glued to the side, no you don't need a smoothie bar, no you don't need grocery store in your gym. YMCA or your soft.

My daughter loved her swimming lessons, Mr. Ely was so patient with my daughter and all of the kids. I'm so thankful because now my daughter can see her progress on her swimming skills thank you so much YMCA thank Mr. Ely and all the staff members. 100% recommended!!!

Our son's swim teachers were awesome! They were patient and gracious, and he looked forward to his swim class everyday. Thank you al so much!!

My daughter loves going to "school" at the Y. She is constantly chatting about her day, her teachers, her friends. Her vocabulary has excelled in her time here. They have an actual routine and curriculum. The teachers send periodic updates and photos when special things are happening so that is always fun to see as well. The facility is well kept and clean. My kids have gotten sick and I've missed far less work compared to when my kids were attending another childcare facility.

What I like about my experience is the cleanliness of the facility, the friendly and caring staff members allow me the peace of mind without worry. I am confident knowing that my granddaughter Harmonee is safe when I leave her in their hands with the responsibility to do the right thing. My Harmonee anticipates going to parents night out. The activities, food and snacks, as well as the staff that do the activities with the children is an excitement and experience that she loves and I enjoy! Northwest YMCA El Mirage ROCKS!!!

This would be enough; but the staff sets the highest standard, not seen in other "exercise centers" around the states or military bases worldwide.
