Great gym with kind and attentive staff.
Location is much closer than the previous Y. The location is beautiful. The layout is nice and open. Lots of good equipment and the studio rooms/swimming pool/court areas are well placed. I also like the personal training areas local.
We’ve had a family membership for decades. We love the gym and that our membership contributes to the community!
availability of 5 recumbent bikes. Wish there were more machines so I didn’t have to wait for certain machines. Members should not get off machines and leave their towels and phones on the machines while they work out on the ground in front of the machines.

Parents and kids we were assigned (some we knew before) were awesome. Practices held weekly and mostly everyone showed up for games so able to grow
The size of the facility is great - plenty of room for lots of group fitness classes.

The front desk staff member who gave me a tour and helped me sign up was extremely friendly and informative. He had answers to all my questions. The facility is really clean and has everything I'm looking for in a gym, with all the equipment and classes I like.
I really appreciate the good communication by the staff to keep us informed on weather decisions and they made a conscious effort to make up all the games. On top of that, the sports director team listened, addressed concerns, and helped resolve any issues/questions I had as a parent/coach. I also love the fields they use, which makes every experience better when its good fields!

lots of classes to chose from, open lots of hours, meet new people, good child care, clean and good workout equipment. Great Service projects. What more could you want?

Body Pump is a great class and a fun way to build muscle and there is a sense of community with a group of us who go every week.

I wish there were more weight machines and/ or a circuit.
We are not a sports family but wanted our son to play to learn good sportsmanship, being a team player and responsibility. That was achieved with our participation in t-ball. We had a great group of parents and kids, which made the experience enjoyable. I liked the time of our games (10:30 am) and the location (FBA). We are planning on playing again in the fall.

Everyone who works at the White Rock YMCA is very kind and thoughtful. The people at the front desk always offer a warm greeting when I check in and pleasantries for the day when I leave. The wellness staff and the personal trainers are cordial and willing to help out if I have a question about the proper way to use a machine or form when lifting.
The other members are respectful and helpful. I've recently had my arm in a sling and have had to ask for help adjusting weight machines, and everyone has been super helpful with that.
The atmosphere there always makes my day. It's my Happy Place!
Great people good location
We are have been White Rock Y members since moving here 5 years ago and love it. Great for the PNO, workouts, child watch, and youth sports. We will continue to support the Y, it is a huge part of our lives!
