I credit the McKinney Family YMCA for my increasing good health, balance, and stamina, enabling active activities with grandchildren and for global travel. My spouse and I both have benefited from and appreciate the excellent and personable instructors these last 10-12 years in the AOA and Zumba Gold classes. The opportunities for socializing have also enriched our lives. In addition, the Y staff is outstanding—encouraging, helpful, compassionate, and have a good sense of humor. (They laugh at my spouse’s joking around…or shake their heads.)

The price is great. I like the reciprocity with all of the Dallas area locations. The staff at my local YMCA is friendly, knowledgeable, and energizing. There’s plenty of parking. The equipment is an excellent condition. The classes are frequent, plentiful, diverse, and for all fitness levels.
Family friendly, organized, and perfect for our 3-year old son. The coaches were amazing with the kids and our son looked forward to every practice and game.
My kid loved it. He loved going to field trip, gaming, bowling, zoo every week. Looking forward to join next year.
Nice, calm environment with helpful people and none of the hard sale or membership difficulties I hear about with some other workout facilities. This would be a 10 if the location by me had a pool or racquetball courts, but I can’t complain too much as I love the convenient neighborhood location!
