Great staff, beautiful facilities, group exercise teachers and schedules
This facility is clean and well maintained. The instructors are top rate and there is a wide variety of classes to choose from. My membership is included in my Medicare supplemental policy, and therefore quite affordable for me. It is also very close to home and convenient.
My biggest complaint is the setup of the bathrooms/changing rooms near the pool. There is no way to just use the bathroom without taking away one of the changing rooms. When a pool class ends, there is a line of people waiting to get into a changing room/shower. This could have been better designed.

I love Lake Highlands Y! It is far from my house or I would go more often. It is clean, big, and has a great spin class every time I've gone.

Joyce is a great teacher and I would recommend anyone to her. She takes her time and doesn’t rush and gives great critiques on how to improve.

Good staff and plenty of room to work out. Our gym is the Lakewood gym and we don't care for it. No staff available and very tight work out space very unpleasant.
Pool & changing rooms
This is a great place to go! Loved the Zumba class.
Premises is clean and well.maintained (especially restrooms & locker rooms). New and modern equipment. Friendly & knowledgeable staff.
The sign-up process was easy... the gentlemen that helped me was knowledgeable of the various options that are available and got me enrolled in a timely manner.

I like the cleanliness of the building, friendliness of staff, never have to wait for a machine and many good programs offered.
I am disappointed that I will now have to pay extra for using the e-gym. I had just bragged to a friend looking to join that it was included in the membership fee!

Friendly staff, clean facility, excellent EGYN system
The facilities are very nice and well maintained. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We used to go to Plant Fitness but wanted a change as the gym was often too busy and some of the equipment was dated. The switch to the Y was just what we were looking for in a new gym.
