Availability of the schedules and friendly staff
My instuctor is a great swim teacher. He took the time to not only explain how to do things but why. He carefully broke down a stroke and would analyze my execution. I learned so much and feel that I am a much better swimmer.

Our Y is like a second home. I have loved getting to know other members and the staff, how wonderful to walk in and be warmly greeted at the desk, and to have people stop and chat. The Egym system is first class, I am obsessed with completing the circuit. I NEED my Lake Highlands Y!
Clean facility and able to use machines when needed.
The layout is much more roomy for all. Not claustrophobic like the Lakewood Y. I would not recommend the Lakewood Y- too crowded, badly built.
We enjoy the "personality" of the place. Great staff and leadership. We like to go two rounds of the E Gym circuit when we are there. We also make use of the treadmills. We appreciate the fact that the Y offers a prayer room where someone can get quiet and spend time with God. It is also great that there is a local church that offers parenting classes and community prayer and other topics important to families.
