The YMCA has been such a special part of our lives. I’ve loved being a member, and my children have grown up here from the time they entered childcare. We’re so thankful for this community
Everything! The staff is always friendly, and the facility is always clean. The equipment is in excellent condition, and when something breaks, it doesn’t take forever to have it repaired. Several classes are offered to fit all levels of abilities of clientele. I especially enjoy the Egym and water aerobics. There is something for everyone at the Lake Highlands YMCA!
Well designed facility with controlled access and wonderful amenities. The pool area is well maintained and staffed for safety. The gym area is nice and well utilized for pickle ball. The workout rooms are equipped with lights and music systems to enhance the experience. The weights and aerobic machines are very nice and put to good use. The child care area expands facility usage for those with young children. And I love the gathering area for those who come to socialize and fellowship.

I joined for the pool. And love it. And the change rooms are clean and everyone is friendly.
Staff are friendly, facility is clean, equipment is great. We use child watch and the pool on a regular basis. No notes!

Egym
Beautiful facilities, lots of natural light and high ceilings make it feel open, airy and inviting. Plus it’s clean and the equipment is in good working order. I love the EGym Circuit. I live a block from the Richardson Y but started driving to Lake Highlands because the facilities are so
much nicer and because the Richardson Y doesn’t have the EGym.

I appreciate the Chair Yoga classes on Monday,Tuesday, Thursday at 10:30 am offered by instructors Audrey and Carol. Thank you for the 3 days each week.
The facility is fabulous- open, airy, light and inviting. And you have numerous classes, EGym (my favorite) and a variety of training machines. But the best part of all is Gary, who gets my vote for best employee ever. He’s unfailingly cheerful and polite to everyone.
I like the child watch and hope to keep taking advantage of it.
