I appreciate the YMCA's efforts in providing opportunities for kids to play sports, however I wanted to share some concerns regarding playtime distribution during games. I did discuss my concerns with Vibhav, our coach, earlier in the season. While I understand he is a teenage coach, and I appreciate his commitment, there was, unfortunately, little noticeable improvement in my son's playtime, after our conversation. I understand play time is a complex issue; however, it seemed that Noah's play time was disproportionately affected by the score of the game. He received significantly less play time in close games or when the team was trailing behind, and more play time if there was a comfortable lead. I was hoping for a more balanced approach so all players could develop their skills and enjoy the experience. I believe a balanced approach could have given my son more confidence, but unfortunately, the situation left him feeling very discouraged and unsure if he wants to try basketball again.
I really hope you will consider my feedback and perhaps provide additional training and support for volunteer coaches regarding equitable playing time distribution. Thank you.

The Staff is very friendly, helpful and welcoming.
The Y offers a myriad of programs for school age kids, including after care and child care.
For adults, the group classes have been amazing.
The instructors and participants grow together and at times it feels like family.
The Coppell Y, I find it to be clean and always stocked with necessary items in the locker rooms and around the gym. A shout out to Carlitos for that.
I don't want to rave about the membership fees, they are a trifle high But, I think it's a trade off for all that you get.

This club has a great Gym space, a walking/running track and a very nice lap pool - The pool schedule is difficult for regular individual workout as with many other Y's, the facilities are committed to other groups - Club is easy to access and has very adequate parking space - The free weight area has nice equipment but small. Nice locker room facilities - Overall a very nice facility

Coaches lead by coach Meagan of Coppell YMCA swim team are the best of the bests. They care about every single kid, put their interest first. I appreciate everything they've done. Thank you coaches!
Family friendly. Has the e excise equipment and classes I want. I can walk to the Y from my home.
My grandkids really enjoyed the summer swim lessons and the parents night out.
My kid joined the team this school year. She loves to practice with other kiddos and to participate in swim meets. Improving swim skills and developing friendship motivates her. Coaches are dedicated and fun.
I love the YMCA because it supports the community. Most people do not know that the Coppell YMCA raises over $100 annually to support those who cannot afford to participate in kids' sports, summer camp, Youth and Government programs, and fitness and wellness programs. What other fitness businesses out there do all that? Come join the YMCA movement and give back to the community.
