I come to the Y because of personal trainer Abby. I have been working with her since December 2023. She is excellent at what she does -- knows how to best structure the workouts, is kind and interested in my success.
She is top notch!
Amazing team and passionate coaches
Coaches are awesome!
😇
Friendly
Great coaches, family friendly, very nice experience so far!
No matter what information is asked of the employees they answer with a knowledgeable reply and if you need to be directed on how to get to a certain place they walk with you if you need it.
Good coaching
Kids learn not only swim strokes but learn rules and manners in the meet. They also get to be healthy eaters. I like they emphasize a healthy life style. Overall, it’s a good place to train them as athletes!
Seeing members of all ages and fitness levels, more seniors actively participating in their fitness, friendliness of front desk staff.
I love the Coppell YMCA. They get to know you and your family and is very worth it parents night out alone. Childwatch is amazing and each of the employees are just fantastic.
There’s always staff to help

A very good and welcoming facility!
Very clean and well managed.
Everyone is very friendly, the facilities are clean and safe. Great environment
I like everything ! Mostly the walking trail. On summer hot days or freezing cold winter weather I can come and walk there and protected of the weather.
I also like the aquatic class, I just wish you had more class times.
Great selection of classes - including many for seniors!
The coaches do a great job of teaching each child based on their skill level ensuring they make progress while still having fun.
We enjoy YMCA swim lessons, just like to have more choices to learn lessons for my daughter
I love the pool and the aqua fitness. I love the kids club. It’s nice and clean place. I love everything about it
I love going to the Y, as we call it. My kids look forward to going as well and run in the track with me. The environment is always clean and the employees are very friendly. I grew up going the to YMCA also and it’s the reason I enrolled with my children. They offer daycare options to allow the parent to work out. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a family friendly place to stay active.
We like the flexibility and availability of class scheduling for private swim classes and the flexibilty of rescheduling incase of need. Also our instructor Shreya is doing a good job of training our child.
Our family liked the teaching method of one out of 3 instructors who was assigned last two weeks for Level 3/4 batch on Saturdays.
Big Pool and lots of classes to accommodate people wanting to learn.
Super friendly staff. Very clean facilities, including the locker room. Thank you for providing a wonderful fitness experience! Jeff.
I've been playing volleyball at the Coppell YMCA for around 20 years now....still love it!
Great instructors. You can attend as many classes per week that you would like, and they are all quality classes. I wish that adults had more access to the pool throughout the day, and on the weekends. I also wish that there was more variety in adult classes in the evening. Les Mills is great, but Body Pump is not the only format that should be offered. I would like to see Body Combat offered in the evening instead of just on Saturdays. Also, more evening yoga and/or pilates or pilates fusion would be welcome additions. Something needs to be done about the women's bathroom--still have too many children, including male children (up through high school age!) coming through the adult women's bathroom and showering. This happens in the evening, many people just walk through with their children to and from the pool. I think they don't understand that they should be using the family bathroom. I know members that go home to change and then come to the Y because they don't want to expose themselves to males. Maybe you should just have one bathroom for males and one for females, with private spaces to shower and change. I have also seen adult women, accompanied by children, walk through the adult women's bathroom to use the gender neutral bathroom. Other YMCA's, such as the Semones Y, do not have this issue. Maybe find out what the other Y's are doing that Coppell can integrate.
Convenient to my home.

Great
