The senior members are like a big family. They plan events for us all to get together. We laugh, play and weep together. We go above and beyond just showing up at the Y. We enjoy social events outside of the y. We are more than friends at are family!!!!

The YMCA is a place where we experience incredible support—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Every day, we are uplifted by the encouragement of the trainers, including Emily McGuire, Julie Hoek, and Lindsey Maki. We also feel deeply supported by the kindness and dedication of employees like Z, Ed, and Donita. Our gratitude extends to the staff group fitness leaders, such as Laura Cleypool, whose passion and care create an environment where we can thrive. The sense of community here is truly remarkable, and it’s because of these wonderful individuals and the friends we meet along the way, that the YMCA feels like a second home to so many of us.

Availability, friendliness, cleanliness.
Everyone is friendly. I attend the swimming classes in the morning. I really enjoy most of the instructors. One lady is way to fast for us older people but hopefully she will learn. Being greeted first thing when I walk in and told to have a good day when I leave is so nice. I like the get togethers that you have and the Birthday acknowledgements.
People are friendly and helpful. It's not overly busy so, I am able to get in and out in a reasonable amount of time.

Wolverine Family YMCA is a very friendly place. The staff works hard and is very helpful and accommodating. They work hard to keep it clean which is extremely important.
It is a place for all ages which makes it more interesting and meets the needs of our community.
I have been a member since 2006. I appreciate the recent change whereby Priority Health members can access the YMCA without charge under One Pass. I hope this helps to retain current members and encourage others to join.
