What do you like about your David D. Hunting YMCA experience?

We love the Y! Our only complaint is the anti-volleyball scene here. It is a very heavy basketball gym, which I understand demographically, but there is a large volleyball network in GR that feels pretty abandoned, even more so since COVID. We don't even have drop in/pick up options anymore at the Y like we used to, and we are borderline shamed when we even ask to put up a net during open court times. It's been tough. We love the Y as a family, but as a community it's lacking with volleyball.

Love all the locations and options and especially WERQ classes with Monica, Cina, and Angie Karsten!

Rodney greets us every weekday while the weekend staff aren’t interested in greeting people. Bev and David are amazing at keeping the place looking so nice while I never see the weekend cleaning staff.

What do you like about your David D. Hunting YMCA experience?

Affordable and easy to get to. It has all of the weights and machines I need, then has a great sauna, steam room and shower when I’m done.

What do you like about your David D. Hunting YMCA experience?

We joined the YMCA last month and have absolutely loved it! Staff is always friendly, there are lots of awesome classes, and the staff at the KidZone has been lovely. We appreciate that we can get a workout in and know that our daughter is safe and cared for.

The hot tub is HOT. Plus a steam sauna AND a dry sauna. Pretty luxurious.

The employees/team members are outstandingly kind a caring. The pool is excellently maintained, a standard size, almost always not very crowded, and the lifeguards are super nice.
