Our whole family loves the Y! Our three kids enjoy any time they get into one of the family pools and especially when they are able to use the aquatic slide downtown. I love that Master’s Swim has a home at the Y and my husband enjoys using all of the workout equipment and racquetball courts.

I love the Y. It’s clean, and has great classes.
My only thoughts are it’s hard to use the courts for sports other than basketball. Would love to have a set time or court for volleyball.
Great pool and great early morning access.
I travel around the Midwest and haven’t found another Y that can compare to what we have in Grand Rapids.

The track is the best, I use it 3-5 times/week. Excellent equipment options, helpful trainers, proximity to my home less than 5 miles.

clean friendly atmosphere, although lately there have been a lot of issues with the heat in the family pool and the sauna in the women’s locker room. My score would definitely go down if these issues aren’t addressed soon!
It has something for everyone. I don't feel overwhelmed when I go inside and there are always employees to help with any questions. There are many classes to choose from along with swimming and hot tub.
The facility is always clean and lots of options of exercises to complete. We love the programs and special events. MFB staff are the kindest, most friendly and always over-the-top helpful.
I like seeing athletes in wheelchairs. Such an inspiration!
