It’s super clean with great pool. Sauna in the women’s bathroom could use a door that closes all the way tough.
Facility is amazing, I’ve met some friends that have taught me how to swim at the Y. I look forward to the Y being a part of my daily routine to stay active fit.
I like the brightness of the facility, it seems like daylight in there. I like the variety of equipment, the quality of equipment and the amount of equipment. I like the pool, hot tub, size of the locker rooms, the elevator when needed, the space between equipment, and the music isn't blaring over the speaker system. I wish the lowell facility was like the Mary Free Bed YMCA because then I wouldn't have to travel out of lowell to go to a nice YMCA.
The services and location are GREAT!! We are always informed of what is happening and updated on any events. Thank you for all you do !

Great group classes, top-notch instructors. The Mary Free Bed YMCA has the best amenities of any club I have been a part of in the past.

Like that the YMCA Mary Free Bed in Cascade Michigan does a great job on meeting the needs of many of its members, from special needs that need sports rehabs to bodybuilders and crossfttters to moms and elderly that just want to keep active.

The Mary Free Bed Y is a top YMCA facility in the Midwest, if not the entire US. Clean, well-maintained, helpful staff and trainers, very accommodating hours and more programs than a person could want, regardless of age and ability.
Having served on the Association Board of Directors of the entire network of YMCAs in Kent County, I am proud of what have created, built, and made available to all.

Love the pool.
Parking lot and sidewalks are trash-free; staff at reception desk are friendly and helpful; facility is clean.
Although some of the better classes (including additional aquatics classes) are still missing and needed from pre-Covid days, there is a nice variety. Need to have more classes offered for those who are retired and healthy. The majority of classes currently offered seem to be geared toward the 30, 40 and 50 year-olds.
Additional aquatics instructors (and lifeguards!) sorely needed.

Great Facility. Better offering than MVP for half the price. Accessible to people of all fitness levels. Only negative feedback is no towels provided, and I forget mine all the time. But not a big deal
