Walking track, Variety of classes, selection of equipment and trainer Kristi Tuck.
I love the Master's swim program!
It’s a very friendly, helpful, and clean environment!
It's got all the things I need, all the employees are very nice.
Coaching staff is very impressive ! Their knowledge and patience is much appreciated
The size. We went to use the pool buy it was closed.
It’s always clean, it’s big, good vibes, good equipment and classes. I love the pool, hot tub and sauna.
The instructor for the Littles group, Olivia, is wonderful! My son may not perform the best in every activity, but he is taking home concepts and is trying new things. It is all a process and I appreciate the team effort.
Love open play pickleball and watching kids bball and soccer.
A bigger, cooler lap pool
The people
The Mary Free Bed YMCA is large, clean, and seems to be well run. There is plenty of equipment for any workout, plus a pool, sauna, courts, and an indoor track. This is by far my favorite Y location!
Ms. Isla is a great instructor :) My preschooler was afraid of swim class for two years. But now she's all-in and loves coming to class. I'm excited to watch her progress. The splash pad at Mary Free Bed is so nice. We also love how affordable these classes are.
All the nice friendly people and all the different things that you can workout with
Classes, friendly people at front desk, track (but what happened to the digital clock?), see people I know there!
Instructors are great.
I love it. From personal training to the water based exercise classes. I really enjoy them as my physical mobility prevents me from doing other classes. I appreciate the evening option as well as Fridays. It would be nice to consider a weekend morning option or deep water when I can attend.
It is a very appealing facility. Lots of light and wide open spaces. It is a very inclusive facility. Whether you take a class, use the equipment, or walk the track all the professionals and fellow gym goers are very nice and helpful. The locker rooms are bright and clean. The classes accommodate beginners while also working for pros. The pools look great, although I have not yet used them. The hot tub is calling me soon! Even when the Y parking lot is completely filled it seems like they could accommodate twice as many or more. I never feel like it is too packed.
MFB YMCA might be the best YMCA ever. Beautiful facility. Friendly staff & members. Great pools! Large track.
My only suggestions would be:
-turn up the heat on the lap pool
-add a steam room like the downtown YMCA
-get some recumbent bikes for people with back & hip issues
It is spacious between machines, so the handicapped people have it easier to navigate
Nice facilities and appreciate the pool, the hot tub, the sauna, and the track and weight equipment
Excellent instructors, good equipment, diverse membership, variety of classes, open pickleball. Need to paint lines for outdoor pickleball.
Close to home, strength training machines, walking lap.
I like the pool and track at this facility.
I always enjoy the YMCA. It would be amazing if you had towels again
Sauna
Great facility and equipment. Staff very friendly and helpful
I love the classes and instructors. They are the best around!! Shout out to the ones I know Holly, Kristin, Sara I, Jenni, Doreen, Alex, Michelle, Cassi, Katie and Lori. I know there are many more that do a wonderful job also. It has been pretty clean and maintenance has been better. Always have bikes that need a battery or tightening of something. Hopefully you can keep the locker rooms cool during the coming Summer months. Love being able to workout early also. I am a 5am person and that has been working out very well.
I like the facility it’s close to home. The staff and coaches are very helpful.

It has so many different activities for any condition that you may have. Personally, I enjoyed the variety of equipment activities that you can participate in. Whatever works for you.
