My son had a great time, so much so that he requested to go back for an additional week.
This is our girls' first year at camp on the lake (ages 5 and 7), and we have been blown away by the experience. They have gained so much confidence in swimming, making new friends, etc. They especially love the aqua park, 'camp songs' and spirit stick contests. Having the opportunity to visit the Camp for "family day" was such a heartwarming experience for all of us. Thank you! We greatly appreciate the YMCA Camp on the lake and all you do for our community at large.

Love this program so much, have had both kids in it and so grateful for all it has done to prepare them for preschool. Ms Tracey is the most amazing teacher and we will forever be thankful for her impact on our kids
New Discoveries has been a great camp for my son! The camp counselors and staff have been all wonderful. I wish that we would get pictures of videos from the different weeks to see the kids in action for memories, but other than that my son has been liking his time and experience here.
I do think this is a great resource for those living in town. If a family has teenagers, then the $110 per month family rate is very worth it.
Amazing experience for the kids!
My 7-year-old daughter was happy and energized when I'd pick her up from camp.
Keeping her away from TV and IPAD wasn't hard at all! She was ready to go back the next day.

The staff is friendly The members and staff are ready to assist. usually machines are avaialable.
The curriculum was wonderful, and Miss Kristin and Mister Mike are absolutely incredible teachers.
After you get beyond stages 1 & 2, students are in the water and swimming most of the class. The instructors this year seem experienced and knowledgeable, and give good feedback to help the students improve.

I Love The Staff, and I love how well they work with my granddaughter to make sure she’s learning something each and every lesson. She’s absolutely loving this class & we all look forward to bringing her every class.
It offers a variety of meaningful activities for the children, such as Science, STEM, music, and swim amongst other things. It has a balance of learning and fun.
I love the low key but so friendly atmosphere of the Y. I love the beautiful old building which is so well-maintained. And I love that there are so many great classes and programs to choose from.
