The facility is pretty sad but the coaches are amazing and the staff is great. Just wish we could build a new Y or expand. And have parking that is safe and available at all.
Our daughter thrived at New Adventures, room one this summer. She enjoyed the different activities and specialists and loved her counselors. They supported her in warming up and coming out of her shell. We were very impressed with the staff- always with a smile and great energy and providing regular updates to caregivers.

My daughter had so much fun! She came home talking all about the fun activities. She loved the themes (especially Wild West week, she couldn’t stop talking about the bandit!) The staff was so kind and friendly. Thank you for all you do!
The staff to kid ratio is great and I know my kid is safe and well cared for at New Discoveries. Activities are paced well for and there is plenty of variety to keep everyone excited for the next day or theme. The swim classes build confidence and are an important part of the day. Thanks to all the counselors and program folks who commit their energy and time to this summer experience.
My daughter had a great time. Her only complaint was that she wished she had more time to try fishing and she didn't like the swim lessons. Otherwise, she loved it.

I was not expecting my son to enjoy his experience so much but he loved New Discoveries. I think the counselors were his favorite part.
The counselors are great and my kids have enjoyed it now for the second year.
My children have been very happy at New Discoveries. They enjoy the curriculum, swimming, and the themes.
I like that the children swim multiple times each week and that they go on field trips.

Most kids at front desk are very friendly and helpful. It’s so nice to be greeted!
Wish you’d put up sign in weight rooms asking people to not sit at machines on their phones. SUPER ANNOYING to wait 10 minutes while someone scrolling their socials.
Surprisingly, some people are super rude when you ask to jump in on the machine, so a sign would help!

Montclair Park Street YMCA is my favorite place to relax, work out and swim.
