The staff ar3e very senior friendly, The pool is especially acomodating for seniors with no steps in the facility other than getting in the pool,
I try to go whenever I'm physically able to do so.

What do you like about your North Area Family YMCA experience?

I feel I have found a fitness home at the North Area YMCA!
I’ve encountered only the most positive of people employed by the YMCA.
Very friendly and very helpful.
I have limited use in that I only swim laps and participate in water aerobics.
All the aerobics instructors are fantastic! I feel welcomed and encouraged. The classes challenge me always. I feel stronger and more limber due to the water aerobics.
There is feeling of comrade with all the participants. I enjoy the classes immensely.
I swim at all four area YMCAs. But the North area Y is my go to place. I love it there!

I like that the North Area Y has great availability for swimming lessons. It is not our closest Y, but we have had better lunch getting our kids into classes at this location.

Being a member at the YMCA has so many advantages. I love the people that go there (and of course the employees). The Y offers so many activities to do for the kids. It's just a nice place to be at 😊.

Cleanliness, resources i.e.equipment, programs, and especially, the fact that the Y doesn’t turn anyone away. The Y provides financial aid for those who can’t afford the dues payments.

I really like going to the North Area Y. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. Many classes and programs are offered and the fitness center is great! I have met many great people there since I joined that are now my friends.
